Balls. I'm terrible at remembering to buy things. They only cost 55c as well.
I'll send you the up to date one after this. I don't think I've spent XP for ages (I've got 12 at the moment) so I think skills are the same.
I can't even remember why I bought the Hub with overlay etc - I'm sure I had a plan for it, but so far I've only got monocle, motion scanner and audio enhancements, and I never use any of them.

No need to get all butthurt about it. I'm capable of looking things up in a rule book in most situations, it's just that with house rules and all that it wasn't clear how it should work. We probably went through this before, but it's been a long time since we've needed to shoot beyond optimum range that I forgot.
I think I'll go with Pants' suggestion then and consider it a 4x scope, so my optimum range on my AR is 80m. Since I can close that much very fast in a sprint, I'll get into optimum range before setting up.

I think the hub was probably for the scout enhancements - you can't use all the vision bits and sensors without it, it's like the computer with the other bits as peripherals.
Anyone else got anything? When the carriens notice Eraser we'll flip to bullet time.

Not for me, I'm just going to keep moving until they collide with Eraser - although I'm guessing he'll get there before I'm at 25m.

Okay then, lets get on with it.
A couple of the lesser carriens milling around the outer edges of the cluster spot Eraser charging at about 80m and start jabbering. A few seconds later they start streaming down the tunnel to meet him.

I'll start the shooting. Assuming I got to optimum range (since I'm the fastest), here goes:
To hit: Rifle (8) + RoF (3) - Vision (1): +10, plus whatever appropriate aims modifier applies here, I don't know how many I get in before the carriens start running.
7, 1 + 10 = 18
# rounds hit: Auto/Support (5)
7, 1 + 5 = 13, so that would be 2 rounds I believe, 10mm HEAP.

Eraser will direct towards the Greater, and go for a full strength hit on contact.
Eraser wrote:C'mon you walkin hatstand, you and me, now!
Intimidate: Roll(2d10)+5: 9,9,+5 Total:23
Chainaxe 10 -running (2) = 8
Roll(2d10)+8: 5,6,+8 Total:19
Strength 17 in pp9 so damage will be PEN:4 DAM:10 AD:3
Eraser moves at 4m per phase, so after 20m that will have been 5 phases, so however many aims you would get from that.

Okay, since Deject spoke first I'll say his shot triggers the combat and phase 1 starts after that.
It takes Deject three phases to cover the 20m to optimum range, so you have two phases before the carriens notice Eraser and another three before they start moving. Assuming you're auto-firing rather than suppressive, you get 5 aims for that, so that makes your total hit roll 23.
Substituting your rifle skill for a/s, you get a 20. Since every 2 points over 11 are a hit (ie, every odd number), all rounds hit. The Carrien takes 53 damage as the explosive rounds tear it in half.
Just as a reminder, I've changed auto/support quite a bit to make it more playable (if not less complicated):
http://www.5punk.co.uk/wiki/index.php?t ... #Auto-fire
Now that this combat has brought it to my attention I'll be making a minor change to say that auto/support through a scope will double effective recoil, but I'll also work out a way of lessening the modifiers for range. For this combat though stay as it is.
So on phase 1 Eraser charges past Deject and the lesser carriens start running. This means the carriens are at the following ranges:
Eraser - 72m
Deject - 76m
Everyone else - 96m
The larger carriens are only just noticing their pack moving and haven't done anything yet.
TSD, since you're way out of range keep hold of that roll. However, the Intimidate roll has the desired effect and the Greater takes a step back, hefting the largest chainaxe you've ever seen.
So.
PHASE 1
Everyone can act in this phase.

I'll use Bomb on the lesser carriens that are running up the tunnel
8 - 4 (darkness) - 2 (medium range) = 2
3,9,+2 = 14
ARM DMG 3, DMG 10, PEN 8, blast radius 3m.

There's a few more modifiers (aims, targets running), but I'd say that was still a hit. The blast roars in the tunnel and throws a handful of carriens to the ground. A couple start to stagger back to their feet (in later phases).

Yup, no problem, it was for on contact anyhoo, say when I hit

Getting into a prone firing stance, balancing Bertha on my bipod. C'mon old gal.
Rifle
5,9 +10 = 24
-2 (IR Scope)
-4 (Head shot)
+2 (Large target)
+10 (Marksman gives up to +5)
+0 (Optimum range, within 150m)
= 30
Blammo! 2 Shots of 12.7mm

The Greater Carrien's head explodes as it raises the chainaxe and the huge corpse crumples to the ground.

Holy shit! Remind me to stay on Bertha's good side. At the very least I have my A/V stalk recording as always. But some good press will always look good.
Anyone else going on 1?

Eraser will redirect to one of the mutants then.

PHASE 2
The mutants start lumbering forward. They're faster.
Eraser - 64m (Lessers), 66m (Mutants), 68m (Bears)
Deject - 72m (Lessers), 74m (Mutants), 76m (Bears)
Everyone else - 92m (Lessers), 94m (Mutants), 96m (Bears)
Deject, Eraser and Grimmie please.
