Her APC is set up to look like a mobile office, and a couple of you will probably have to stand in the doorway. She asks for a rundown of events and a copy of any footage.
Ms Kirk wrote:You can do what you like with the footage once I've had a look at it. That DN130 should be of interest to FEN, so it might be worth you getting some desk jockey to see if you can hand it in through their procurement department. Did you recover any of the LAWs? Those and anything else of interest you hand in to the Shivers here, I'll arrange a bonus for you. The Hijoule execs all looked to be in good working order, so I'll pass your details on to them too in case they want to thenk you themselves. They sometimes do - good for publicity. Any questions?

Do you have any theories Ms. Kirk?

Ms Kirk wrote:Well it wasn't so they could free some crackpot Downtown socialists, that's for sure. Usually it's a publicity stunt, and my guess is they were filming you in the hope you'd mow down the hostages too. The fact that they had a squad dressed as Operatives would back that up - they were probably there to start shooting up the place if you guys didn't give them the footage they wanted. Luckily for you everything was cleanly done, or you could probably expect to see yourself on Channel Resistance tonight. As it is, Third Eye will probably beat them to it, and all the better for you.

I'm guessing that Haynes will have enough clout to get FEN to take a look at this gun, I'll try and get it to him as soon as I can.

I assumed that 'cause Kt'rr got to keep the warbastard, I might get to keep this, but I realise that it's because it's DN gear, right?

Yeah. The Warmonger was a bit dodgy, since they're illegal on Mort, but you had a hard fight so I thought I'd drop in a nice toy. I'd be happy enough to let you keep the Spectre out of character, but as it's DarkNight there's no way the company would allow it in character. However, FEN will be interested in this as a potential rip off version of a MAL for them to bastardise, so they might give you something. I just haven't decided what. The other rifles, by the way, are FEN 074s. 11.35mm semi-auto sniper rifles.

If nobody has any more dialogue for Ms Kirk, we can call it there and I'll debrief you.

You're not allowed to keep stuff you pick up either way. The ammo I'll let you off with because I doubt anyone really noticed, but SLA owns those guns (and yours for that matter), and they're not about to let you just walk off with them. I like giving little bonuses for a good performance, so sometimes I'll let you keep stuff that's interesting (like the Warbastard) to add character, but it's the exception rather than the rules.

And anyway, I've already got your bonus pressies worked out.

Eraser will de-clip the rifle and hand it over then, before giving the 2 clips to K'ttr.

I don't suppose that we'll be on the news as the heroes instead will we? At the least, would it be possible to get any footage deemed acceptable for us to try and get publicized on our own?

That was being filmed? Can I make a retroactive "looking good on cameras" roll?

In case I can:

Telegenics: 7 + 3,6: 16

Yes. In fact I'll go away and rewrite my media rules because I've lost them. Bah.

I figured there were security cameras, which is why I did that spin and pose after downing the last guy.

I assume this means the BPN is complete?

Aha! Found them. Rules for pricing camera footage are:

Footage fees per second:
Combat: 20-50c
Interview: 10c
Padding: 5c

Footage length:
Combat: As per actual combat length
Interview: 1s per point over 10 for interviewee's Communique roll
Padding: 1s per point over 10 of cameraman's Cinematography roll

Fee modifier rolls:
Telegenics (subject): +5% per point over 10 for combat footage
Cinematography (cameraman): +5% per point over 10 for combat footage
Interview (interviewer): +5% per point over 10 for interview footage
Business Administration (broker): +/-5% per point over or under 10 for combined footage

Third Eye will take the best results of everyone's footage, so if five people film something, the one piece which would make the most money for you is used.

Yeah, I reckon we're done.

Have 3 XP each and 0.3 SCL increase.

Basic CBS for the BPN is 200c each. On top of that;

6 Blocker = 240c
3 GA AR = 90c
3 204s = 105c
5 FEN 074 = 250c
Gear total: 685c

8 seconds of boardroom combat footage
4 seconds of spoof Ops combat footage
5 seconds of DN squad combat footage

If people want to make rolls for the footage then go ahead and I'll put the final fees up. You each get +1 public image too.

Regarding the Spectre, Haynes says he can get a 700c bounty and a lot of gratitude (in the form of +1 rep) from FEN if you move quick before Cloak take it for free.

A few days after the BPN ends, Hijoule contact you all. As a token of the board's personal gratitude for saving their lives without damaging their stuff too much, they offer each you the permanent lease of any production car in their range.
