Someone should probably call it in too.
Kt'rr is not well. Although he's being all Shaktar about it, giving the impression that he can just walk it off, he is down to 8 hit points out of 26, and has three wounds. MEDIC!

The guys in suits are physically fine, just badly shaken. They don't even need releasing, they weren't restrained. The threat of being shot by huge guns was enough to keep them in place. None appeared trapped, and indeed none were.
K'Trr is bleeding and has taken a pounding, but it's a culmination of fairly superficial wounds. A few doses of KS and a sit down should sort him out. Eraser took a deep wound, but it missed anything vital. He should regenerate the damage given enough downtime.

Realistically the negative point should take longer, but it won't affect anything game-wise at this stage. I've no rules for that anyway so nothing to worry about.

Well then Dirk can work some healing magic on both of them.
OK civilians, the DarkNight threat has been eliminated. I will escort you down the the SLA Operatives outside.
deej motions to Grimmie to come with, then I will lead them down the stairs to waiting elevators on the floor below, then head straight down.
We have recovered two hostages from the top floor conference room and we are escorting them down. They are physically unharmed but a bit shaken up. There was no sign of any other hostages.

There's ten hostages.
As you descend you hear a muffled explosion from below. It sounds quite a way away, and not large, but it's coming from down the shaft.

Booting the nearest fire door open and shove the hostages out of the way of the blast...

It's not that kind of explosion. Only the guys in the elevators hear it, and it's more on the grenade scale than building demolitions scale. Obviously to hear it this far away it's larger than a grenade, but not so large you fear for the building.

Flaps. Knew it was too good to be true.
Deject and I are already ferrying execs down in lifts, probably taking 5 each in separate ones.
Grimmie wrote:Shit it! Someone's letting off explosions down below. Stop your lift and evacuate your guys till we can tell what's going on.
I'll stop mine at the next available floor and get my suits out into the office, after I've poked my head around.
Then I'll try and peer down the shaft and take a look at what's happening, if I cant through the one I just used, I'll pick another.

Is there any way to look down without going down? Like, down the stairwell or something like that?

If I am already in the elevator with the hostages and grimmie, then I will say:
Let's get out of this elevator NOW.
Otherwise we will stop attempting to get in the elevators.

You can't see anything down the shaft (pfft), but you can make a listen roll.

Goddamnit! We need to get you guys to a defensible location. Head back up the stairs now! Dirk, get Kt'rr and Eraser patched up ASAP, this is not over yet.
Once we're back in the conference room I will give Kt'rr a shot of my Kick Start+ (2 wounds/4 hp). While we're up here, I will check out the weapons the DN guys had as they seemed pretty potent.

If it's taken you all this time to put KS into K'Trr he's probably bled to death, so shall we assume you did that earlier? Still leaves him bleeding, mind.
The DarkNight guys are all wearing heavy armour of a non-SLA design. They're carrying long 11.35mm rifles made by FEN. The guy with the bigger gun is carrying something you've never seen before but it has DarkNight markings stamped on it. It's chambered for 12.7mm and vaguely resembles a MAL Assault Cannon.

Yeah that sounds good. Dirk needs to heal him up some too.
Grimmie take that BFG and make sure it's ready to rock.
I'll grab one of the 11.35mm rifles and make sure it's got a full magazine, as well as getting a couple more magazines from the dead guys.

If theres any spare ammo that fits the warbastard, ill take some. Kt'rr needs bullets!

Similar to a.. M.. MAL.. ASSAULT CANON?!
I pick it up and stroke it possessively against my face, streaking my facepaints.
I'll reload it as best I can with what's left over and give it a kiss for luck.
