That does look good!

I've always liked Wes Anderson films, artsy without being pretentious. Sadly all the hipsters never got that message.

A new Wes Anderson film? I'll probably watch that then. The ones of his I've seen have been rather good.

I saw it last night, it is very weird and leaves a lot of interpretation to the audience. This is especially apparent if you take a quick look at the IMDb boards.

This is my interpretation, that doesn't cover everything:
Spoiler:
Jay is being groomed for membership to a murderous cult, presumably as some kind of special member or new "king". This is why other cult members a happy with the honour of being killed by him. The people on the kill list are cult members. And presumably the sacrifice of his son is the final test. His wife is in on it as you hear her speaking some strange language earlier in the film. Possibly the terrible events in Kiev bought Jay to the attention of the cult, as an appropriate member who like a bit of horrible murder.
I'm going to have to watch it again with the directors commentary, as there's some bits I don't get. Such as
Spoiler:
if Jay's wife was in on it who was she shooting at inside the house near the end? They couldn't have been cult members as she's on their side. Assuming my interpretation of the rest is accurate.

Was that not Swedish? Im sure she mentions being in the Swedish horses during the dinner party bit.
After looking at the IMDB boards, I'm quite glad I'm not alone. Seems there's a fair few people out there who didn't have a clue what was going on.

Iron Skies looks promising.

Here's a thing

Directed by Zed in the Police Academy sequels. He also directed World's Greatest Dad, which is a little messed up.

That does look good. But maybe that's because I would probably do the same thing.
