Anyone know if TSD is around? I can shoot one more hotline, but that'll be my last.
Surely time shouldn't pass while we're waiting for a player to wake up? :p

No, it shouldn't, but it does pass while you're tic-tacing and hiding and talking, and you only had approximately 30 seconds.

Sorry guys, been away andcouldn't get the wireless connection to work, and then trying to work out the grenage rules again...

Throwing a DA90 frag grenade on Smiling boy...

Range is 42m long I think he's in that Doggers? if not I'll move to the point i'm at long, so

Throw:10,9,+5-4 (range)= 20

Dead centre :D

So its Blast Rating of 10 = 10 damage to each of smilers locations as long as it lands within 6m of him if I'm right...

Now hide.

He's 80m away, so you'd have to go 38m in. Which incidentally leaves you no cover to hide behind.

Even with the extreme range (-8) it's still a roll of 16, which is a hit, right?

Posted: September 16th, 2009, 17:34
by Dog Pants
Yes, he can do that.

The grenade explodes where it's supposed to, flipping bodies and creating gore. There's substantially less groaning to be heard once the echoes subside.

Except the maximum range I can throw is long, due to it being based on my strength, but 42 meters should still hopefully be range enough for me to not be blown up...

...Possessed on the other hand...

Okay. Well even stood out there you don't feel possessed after the explodey.

I'll go and find Dour and explain to him that the body's been turned to jelly chunks.

Dour wrote:We confirm he is gone.
With that Dour stalks out into the Forge, towards the scattered and bloody downed Subterraneans.

So, does Kt'rr need to detect this steaming pile of offal or something?

No, just waiting to see if anyone else had any plans.

Dour stops halfway across the Forge, scanning the smouldering and occasionally groaning Subterraneans.
Dour wrote:I know you're here, Havoc.
From the scattered bodies, a bleeding and tattered figure staggers to his feet, turning his mangled face towards the Necanthrope with a manic grin.
Havoc wrote:You took your time, but it was a waste of effort. You know that it takes more than bullets and bombs, Dour. Why don't you give up the chase?
Dour wrote:You're a disgrace. Banished, playing your pathetic games with those who can't defend themselves. Wasting the gift you've been given. Come back to the city for atonement.
Havoc wrote:Atonement? Hahahaha! You idiot Dour, you've no idea. I'm not banished, I never have been. You simply don't understand what I do. I've nothing to atone for. Nobody but you sees me as a betrayer. Nobody of any consequence. You should stay out of things that don't concern you, lest you become out of your depth.
Dour wrote:Don't you dare try to manipulate me. I know who you were, but you no longer hold any authority. You're a traitor and a coward, and I will bring you back if you won't come.
Havoc wrote:Fool. Who are you to accuse me of manipulating the helpless? You bring Operatives here to face me, and try to take a moral stance? Believe what you will, it makes no difference to me. You can't stop me anyway.
Dour, during this time, has been edging closer, his Gore Cannon bristling. With Havoc's smug last words, Dour picks him up by his grinning head, enveloping it in his huge black fist. Striding towards the hole in the centre of the Forge, he hurls the squirming body into the blackness. As Dour stands for a moment, staring into the pit, onlookers can feel the violent rage of his aura intensify. Then, as it begins to subside, he unslings his Vaph and tosses it into the hole after Havoc.
