If I had a breathing apparatus I would try to head in right now, but I am not in the mood to ingest some nasty chemicals. Might as well try to get on the roof again.

Should I re-roll to try and get on the roof then?

Roof!

To get up there is an extended test, target is 11. Using your rappel gun you're rolling strength 5 and athletics 3, dice pool is -2 so 6 dice.

Remember - no hits doesn't mean you fall off, it just takes a bit longer. A glitch means you slip/fall 1d3 metres and with a crit glitch anything could happen!


Joose - any idea on where you're aiming for? As it stands you're two thirds of the way across the concrete from offices to warehouse main doors.

Fab - do you still want to ram things with your car?

When you say my car might not survive the ramming, how likely is it be able to carry on moving once it's done the deed?

How about... if I reverse at speed through the gates and do a J-turn after busting them open, would that increase my chances of car not dying?

I'm still sort of curious why you're planning on ramming the gates in the first place. Just for shits and giggles?

Whuh? I totally posted a response to Deej's rolls. Where the fuck did that go!

Anyway - Deej you are now on the roof, there is smoke curling from various vents and pipes etc, the roof has windows and a large hatch has slid back which the fire drones are diving in and out of at a ridiculous rate, the rate of stinky noxious smoke has dropped somewhat as a result of their actions. It's concentrated toward one side and one end, below which is the door the guys in blue robes burst from.


Fab- It depends on rolls, as for a speed reverse smash followed by J-turn, it depends on rolls, again. Your car may well smush the gate, it's not exactly super strong, or you may turn it into tiny little bits.


Joose - you're standing still in the middle of the concrete apron in front of the main doors.


Everyone - can I get a perception roll plox.

Basically yes, under the guise of providing a distraction for you guys to do your thing (or get out) and as no-one has shouted at Jon to not do it, it seems that's what he will do :)

Okay, those of you outside the compound and on the roof of the factory/warehouse see lights, head lights and flashy lights, appear on the road to the factory. There's quite a few and they're moving quite fast.


Deej - From on the roof you can deduce that the large opening is likely straight into the bowels of the factory, a large drop without too much in the way of how to get down. The hatches/skylights further back above the probable lab area where the people in blue burst from are easier to descend via, the smoke will affect you but the drones are slowly getting it under control.


Joose - Still stood in front of the main doors, any plan? There's still no-one around from what you see, the loader drones are parked silently away from the factory, the shutter doors are fully open.


Fab - if you want to drive your car into the gate a definite yes or no please so I can work out dice.

Jasper is with Jon approaching/in the car, Firenza has folded into a different space time.

As there are lights at speed, I will say no for now to see what happens and get back out of sight (or off the road at least)

Amidst the swirling smoke you can see far below you a mess of machinery, ducting and conveyors with drone arms above. Strangely quiet other than the thrum of the drones.

The stream of drones is moving back and forth from one area, it's the other side of the wall to the plant you were in earlier, looks like there's an inside store of chemicals too. Near the chemical store is a series of sectioned off rooms.

To zip down onto the floor with your grapple gun - strength+athletics, no neg mods and a threshold of 2.

The way I read it is it's an extended test with a very low threshold as opposed to a one time dealio.

The book says make the player do another test to not fall over at the bottom, but I think that's stupid so I won't be asking for that.

Right, your at the bottom (fnar) on the concrete. the smoke isn't too bad as it's mostly filling the roof space before heading out the vents and being sucked out by the ventilation system.

Looks to be offices, labs and other such rooms in the sectioned off area. Now you're down here you can see all the hazard signs on the chemical store, that's where the drones are busy flowing to and from.
