Not sure how long it has been there, but there is now a "learn to play" button that gives you a tutorial taking you through the absolute basics. It's on the level of those tutorials in FPSs that tell you how to walk forward and look up, but that could be useful for people who haven't even loaded up Dota before. Tells you some things you might not pick up by yourself, like last hitting and letting the creeps to first.

I think I must be the only person in the universe who doesn't have a copy of this game - anyone got a spare?

Thanks Johnson. Thohnson.
I though I already had it. Twice. But now I definitely have it at least once.

What a lovely gift on a day I am visiting your fine country again, off to Antwerp for a conference, I will sing your praises to any Belgium that asks.

"Do you know Mr Johnson" they will say
"Why yes!" I will say "He is a fine human being"

Something along those lines.

Bobbins: When you have a spare moment in Antwerp, seek out 'the chocolate line', they have fancy chocolates that you can surprise your missus with. If your company didn't provide you with a place to eat, go to a little Mexican place called 'gringo's'. They have no website but here's some information: http://apen.be/restaurant-gringo-cantin ... -mexicaans. If you want some good Belgian chips, go to a place called 'de smulpaap', it's tiny but the chips are worth it. You can find it at the varkensmarkt 2 (use your phone or ask a local). If you just want a drink, any place should be good. But no shoebeer :(

And Berk, I'd love a game!

I *might* be available for a game tonight. What time are people aiming for?

Pretty much any time is good for me, 10pm onwards is fucked though.

I'm up for a game if we can start some time around half eight to nine. No TS though, so by all means bump me for someone who can speak.

This is probably about the ideal time for me, too.

Could you not go on TS in listen-only perv mode? You would be at a bit of a disadvantage otherwise.

The Mrs doesn't like me ignoring her during the week. If she's in a good mood I might get away with it but I wouldn't press the issue. As I say, I won't be offended if I'm not invited.

After half 8 is good for me.

I was just having a poke about in game and you can select hero builds during a game that will highlight skills when you level up to show you what to get each level to follow the build (but doesn't lock the choice so you can still deviate) and will alter the recommended items in the shop as well along with a few notes from the author to explain a few bits about the build, which is incredibly handy. Most of the guides have a description of what role and lane they are meant to be played in the title but some can be a bit vague but you can browse through the steam workshop and look at whats available for a particular hero out of game to figure out which to go for beforehand too.

I've provisionally cuddled Mrs Pants into agreeing to let me listen in. She's ill so if she goes to bed early you may hear my beautiful voice too.
