I think I must be the only person on the internet who doesn't care.

I don't care either.

Well, I do care a little, because I'm preemptively tired of all the quotes people are going to spout repeatedly and wear on shirts, and the credits theme that's going to be playing all the time on all my friend's computers.

I'M PREPARED, YOU TERRIBLE FANBASE.

I didn't particularly care about the marketing but that game does seem to be living up to the hype, why not try it?

Are you mad? You cant admit to liking something that lots of people like! It makes you look uncool.

Finished the single player. Boy, it's a good one. Despite being longer the whole thing felt over far too quickly. Haven't had a chance to get on the co-op yet but i'm hoping that's where all the tutorials really come into their own.

As far as i can remember, there aren't as many quotable phrases. No mention of cake, Just potatoes.

It's short, but not the disappointing kind of short.

When I eventually tried the first Portal, I got through the first couple of levels but found it rather underwhelming and never finished it. Puzzle games aren't really my thing.

With the first one I found myself playing on to find out more about the story and see what was going on rather then the satisfaction of completing the puzzles.

And having played it through again last week the puzzles didn't seem as complex as the first time round. (Perhaps my brain has upgraded itself from watching Portal 2 trailers?)

I steamed through the first one on replay recently, for me it was steaming anyway. I remembered most of the solutions to the rooms as I came to them. The puzzles in number 2 don't seem quite as tricky, very well balanced.

But yeah, a major part of the enjoyment from the series is the story, atmosphere and humour. I've had plenty of genuine lols and grunts of appreciation. But if you really don't like puzzle games, then it could grate.

My PC also seemed to stuggle with the white stuff, probably because when it was used it was used in copious amounts.

Quite a good little game that was, a number of things I didn't expect and it was all put together extremely well, some of the puzzles were a bit confusing until you get the eureaka moment. Interesting ending.

Apparently I've missed a fair bit according to the achievements. Might have to have another go.

Great fun. Think I took about 8 hours.

Loved the old aperture labs.

I finished in about 5 hours
Spoiler:
, which could have been 4.5 if not for the pit. While the whole game itself was good, I was rather disappointed in the pit part, not because it was hard, but because it was frustrating - the parts where I was given a huge space and the map makers were like "Okay, so here's the thing. This is a huge space. We're going to give you one portal conducting surface right in front of your eyes, now go spend the next 15 minutes finding the elevator you're supposed to get to and the one, and only one, surface which allows you to get there. I will not tell you that this surface, even when using the zoom function, is pea sized on top of one of the 350 columns, but don't worry, if you have the eyes of an eagle, you're going to spot the ruined catwalk segment which you should get to, even though it completely blends into the background at said distance."
