Tsk, big corporations never care for the little people.
I could take 5 and go grab some more zappy bullets.

Or one of the big boys could intimidate him to hell.
If we can avoid deading him then that'd be good. Hell, he might even know something.

I think we head straight there - if we wait to stock up with things he may either move on or make another broadcast (which would be bad).

Killing reporters is probably not the best idea, as great as it sounds.

I definitely think we should try the talky route first. I guess I'll head there ASAP and get eyes on him so we don't lose him.

Away ho!

It's not far away. Relatively speaking. Daniels gives you the location of the last broadcast, along with the footage, where you find a couple of Shivers lounging outside an apartment.

Watching the broadcast you can see why he's upset. The young reporter animatedly launches into speculation over Karma's lack of concern for public welfare, and suggests SLA launch an enquiry. He's careful not to appear subversive, but it's not what you'd expect to see from a Third Eye reporter.

I'll approach the Shivers.
Hello. You guys seen anything interesting around here lately?

Grimmie stands back a little and mimics deject under his breath.

Shiver wrote:Plenty. Dead guy, crazy Doobrie, news reporters, Karma dudes, and now Ops. Which one you after?

We're looking for the reporter, but why don't you tell me what you know about the Doobries? I'm sure you know there have been a few reported attacks by them recently.

Shiver wrote:Uh yeah, we heard there was a few. Building security reported a lot of screaming and shouting, so we came to have a look. Found a stiff, and Gary found a crazy Doobrie which tried to chew his boot. He locked it in the bathroom until some Karma guys went in and took it away in a box. The reporter got here soon after we did and did his little thing. Seemed a bit... enthusiastic. Don't see that much in a reporter. Had a fat cameraman with him too. Gary, did you get their names?
Shiver called Gary wrote:Reporter was called Baicey something. His fat cameraman was called Mike I think.

Gary Busey?
Dirk wrote:Does the name Marty Morris sound familiar? That's who we were told to look for. I don't watch much television so I don't know.

Time for some internet stalkeryness!

Computer use (4): 9, 10 + 4 = 23 :w00t:

I'll look up this Baicy character.

Gary suddenly puts one finger up in front of his helmet and points the other one at you.
Gary wrote:Marty! That's it!
The other Shiver shakes his head.

Surprisingly, Deej, you get several hits for the name Baicey. One's even a reporter, but she's female.

Assuming she's what an alien would guess an attractive human looks like, deej gives the shiver a wry smirk.
Try thinking with your other brain and you might do better.

not as stupid Shiver wrote:Well if you're looking for the guy he told his cameraman he was hungry. It was only about half an hour ago, you can probably still catch him. The fat cameraman said Red Crawley's, but I don't think he liked that. If you head out left from here and then follow the main road right there's a mall about three blocks away. Might find him there.
He shrugs.

Following the Shiver's directions you find the mall easily enough. It's not big by Uptown standards, but it's big enough.

I'll look for a directory and head for the food court area.

On a balcony around a square set aside for 'quaint or exotic market stalls' which actually just peddle crap made on Mort made to look exotic are an array of food outlets ranging from Red Crawleys (lots of cheap carbs) to faux posh restaurants serving Orientan or New Parisian food.

Deej, can you do the SLA equivalent of a Google Image search for this chap, and we'll have a look for him.

Detect: 8,3,+8 = 19

I am not sure what I need to roll, so I will guess a Detect and Compy Use.

Detect (4): 3, 10 + 4 = 17
Computer Use (4): 5, 3 + 4 = 12
