They've dropped the alliance names with a nod / wink we shouldn't be saying type of thing. Could be one of 3 reasons I rekon

1. It was bullshit and someone from management slapped Shanda into next week for posting it
2. It was true but they don't want to be public about it
3. It was a trap to try and catch a spy. Not sure if you could log everyone viewing the post before change but you could certainly log those browsing the forum in that time.

Sadly, I suspect No. 1 but I still hope for No. 2. Time will tell....

In other news, TCF took their 9-3 POS down today. This is interesting as we put it into reinforced on Thursday night only because the guns had been stripped from it. I had the idea that this might be a trap, baiting with an unarmed POS then waiting for us with a far superiour fleet (they know what we can field on a good day). In the event, we fielded about 40 ships and they had 80, which belies my theory. If they had had 300, then I would have declared it a planned bait to spank an ISS fleet. In the final analysis it appears that they were making a staged withdrawal from at least the middle of last week. Either way, they've demobilised, which is interesting further because reports are that they had been promised Tycho as part of a "fly with us against ISS" deal with <s>the snots next door</s> IAC, although I'm not sure about that last part as I received it on my tinfoil-hat-arial

I dam sure people seen that already compermised? the op. More than anything if LV and BOB going to strike it need to be shush shush u know? so it hit them in the face with out them proparing. Thing is if the the TCF taking down the pos must be the sign they already know it may happen.

I Know that bob and LV going to do some heavy spanking some time! I mean why the hell not? it doesnt make sence if they dont. Kill AAA, IAC and deal with Goon will make there boarder safer from large invasion or attacks. After that D2 will Lose EC again!! and lose there alliance. i say thats going to happen. Question is for me when? What ever going to happen i so readu for Full gear war.

It be nice to have South vs North again like 2 years ago i think? it sure was a massive on too lol

Shit, that means Shanda was bullshitting. I have no idea what he was trying to achieve with a ruse like that. I believed it frankly on the basis that it was too unlikely not to be true. I just hope that the turn out is good enough, the posted op will not get any industrial types into ships.

Local zxic was starting to populate with hostiles just prior to DT, not sure what it ended at as I left for Fabrica at about 1030 hrs

I have fitted and loaded out all the corp ships that I could find and fly. Not much but 3 or 4 frigs and a cormorant are there. They're all uninsured.

I've also put an ecm fitted thorax in the corp hangar. It's uninsured aswell so either could it be corp insured or whoever takes it insure it personally and pass me the payout minus the premium when you get it blown up.

If it doesn't get blown up, I'll recompense the premium or something. Fittings were mostly from the corp hangar anyway, so no worries there. And I just remembered that there's no drones in the rax, so you'll want to put some in

Christ, I just moved in and some spakker wants to come take it!

Questions;

1. How serious are they?
2. How much support are they expected to have?
3. Do they need it?
4. I notice this has not been discussed on ISS forum yet, is this intentional?
5. Aside from UK, anyone else joining the good guys? Seems there was a lot of sympathetic sentiment atround Kari last night (BOS etc)
6. Last (and least), do we know what tehy want with these outposts or is it an open question (like wtf do SoD want with tycho)?

I'm a little low on ships at the mo and need some isk farming to replace the mega as insurance only covers the ship cost not fit/insurance. I'll at least stock up some cruisers and frigs so I'm not without a ship.

All we know is that Goons sent a message to Cout saying basically 'Don't ever help LV ever ever or we'll take your Providence outposts lolz'. Count sent a copy to the head of LV to discuss at which point Goons sent another evemail 'Joo l00z we taking you're outposts anyway cos we are so l337' (I'm paraphrasing here). They're very confident and therefore pretty open about it - given their recent successes in KDF and ZX they have every right to be. No doubt SoD and IAC will come along and we havn't seen even quarter of the numbers Goons can produce in our recent fights. For them this will be an all alliance Call To Arms - I'd expect upwards of 500 hostiles in system.

We do seem to be lacking serious allies at the moment. U'K, Sylph, BOS, UCE are all tiny compared to what we're facing, and with D2 and EST raiding the back door it's getting awkward. Command did mention that IAC's allies are going to be 'kept very busy for the next few weeks' whatever that means. They wouldn't say any more.

Both SoD and Goons plan to sell the station to the highest bidder

I'm going to be very interested in seeing who is willing to bid more than teh 10M isk that goons oferred us for any of these stations. Selling a stolen bike down at the local pub rarely gets market price.

I will do my upmost to be there in my sniping raven with full T2 setup. Working on the assumption that it will get horrible fucked during this op I will probably need a hand getting back on my feet (and I already owe Wiggy a big chunk of help) - Any suggestions for what to put on the mid slots as I probably won't bother with a tank so ill have a couple spare
