I managed to login last night at around 23:00 and the place was deserted. Although I was only testing my new PC, didn't want to play.

I imagine everyone got pissed off with being disconnected every five minutes, which is what was happening earlier in the evening. I never managed to get out of the tutorial.

Understandable. I was having problems connecting, but persevered as I wanted to make sure it wasn't a problem with my new installation of the game.

I dunno about anyone else but when I get this game I'm going to towspec a high grade Gunshooter bypass toon and backflip taze the root

You need to have 4/4/4/4/4/4/4/4/4/4/4/4/4/4/4/4/4/5 to do that though and I don't think I have enough street cred for that

From the forums it looks like they're just fettling servers constantly for the launch day.
Hopefully all will be well on Friday and I can start making stupid things.

I've seen no sign of one yet. Open beta is now over and early start program starts tomorrow* for pre-orderers. Trials will no doubt come later, when things have calmed down. The game is only £25, treat yourself.

I don't need no stinking account. I'm happy writing down spurious ideas for characters. Who needs the game? After The Denim Python I'm going to try to create the cast of In The Night Garden. Also, Dog Pants wil be reborn. In a thong, if at all possible.

That's what you get when you skimp and buy cheap.

Play have sent me a early start code. Well two codes in fact, but the first one was an unconvincing "%%CODE%%". You can try that yourself if you like.

My early play code is identical to my beta code, so I guess it should work all the way through.
With any luck, it will also work for the full game. Digital release is the 1st, and retail release is the 4th in europe.

Yeah, just draw your awesome characters and post them here. You'll probably still be a higher level than any of mine, what with my massive addiction to the character creation screen.
