One of the strippers calls over to Chopper as he's leaving:

OK, as you guys are waiting on information from TSD, and I happen to know that he is having computer problems so his online activity might be a bit patchy, I'll shortcut things and post what he has found out here to get things going again. Im sure he won't mind :)

INFODUMP GOE:

Datasearch - Alec Littletree = 4 hits

20 years old, grew up in redmond. A handful of gang related misdemeanours on his record, nothing major, and mostly got off with a warning. A bit of snooping in the records shows he has spent a fair bit of time recently hitting various clubs and suchlike in Renton and Tacoma. Keeps himself busy, by the amount of locations he has been to, but no pattern as such.

Datasearch - Xa Firebird= 3 hits

Xa, in contrast to Alec, has been spending more of his time in trendier clubs and parties around Uni areas. He is quite the creature of habit, keeping a pretty clockwork schedule. Like Alec, he also has a number of gang related misdemeanours on record, but seems to be slightly less adept at avoiding punishment. Nothing worse than a handful of fines or a night in a Lone Star jail though.

Datasearch - First Nations= 3 hits

You don't find much on the First Nations that hasn't already been covered, other than a bunch of recent reports of activity in the Verge that makes it seem that might be a recent acquisition of theirs. Nothing interesting though.
The Shutting Downs wrote:Known address/bolthole for Alec Littletree = 1,1,2,2,2,3,4,5,5,5,5,6 = 5 hits

Known address/bolthole for Xa Firebird= 1,2,2,3,4,4,5,5,5,6,6,6 = 6 hits
Nowt on either of them. They are both in the Verge, and hard info on the Verge is patchy at best. With those rolls though, you do know that the reason you cant find anything is that there is nothing to find. You've got the address for the buildings in the pictures, but that's it.
The Shutting Downs wrote:Any information about our Ms Johnson from the picture of her = 2,2,2,3,4,4,4,4,5,5,5,6 = 4 hits

Her name is Dae, she's a Korean stripper on the books at ticklers. She was a "bonded entertainer" for Renraku a few years back, but isn't linked to any corps at the moment.

to the Ms J wrote:Well then, we'll see you in a week. It was a pleasure.
Alright, so we know they're a couple of thugs. How should we approach this?
I'll do a knowledge roll to see what kind of security we'd be likely to face in the Verge, with the bad wireless and all that (i.e.: what I would do if I were a decent sized gang).

Security Design (4) + Logic (5): 3, 6, 2, 4, 4, 3, 3, 6, 2: 2 hits.

Mind if I do my thing before we follow Plan Chopper? I'll arrange a date with my cop contact and see what she comes up with. A nice dinner, and whatever else comes along...

Hahaha, I totally forgot about this one!

I think everyone is going through a load of shit right now, terrible time for all the runs starting.

I think we're all in the armoury now. TSD will possibly have steered N-zo back to his lair of internet surfings.
Frank wrote:Don't be stupid Chopper, locking the door means they can't escape. Imagine how funny watching them crawl away crying quietly at the pain would be! And then standing on their fingers just as they got to the door.
Frank waves at his fridge and chairs. He then sits at his workbench and lights up a red apple.
Frank wrote:Grab a beer and a seat boys.

Seriously though, we need to know a lot of what's going on down in the areas we're likely to be working in. We need to know who to stay away from, who we can use, who might need paying, all this stuff is the land of Al and N-zo.

We need a reason to be there at all. Jobs at any companies. Hiking. Whatever the fuck gets us a cover story.

We need to all brush up on our spy craft shit. Recognising danger signs, how to follow, when to cut away and call in support and so on.

It may need none of that, they could be two fairly unaware hicks just doing their thing without looking around them. Or they could alert all the time in which case we'll have to play it carefully.

I got the feeling we're on the edge of some big ass intrigue going down. And that means good money from the right people. So we gotta up our game from the last run.

Well I've already got the results of one roll pending, so I'm not going to make any more just yet.

Security in the verge is likely to be firmly in the low tech end. Not that this means is going to be shit, its just going to be more along the lines of big hungry dogs and trolls with baseball bats rather than cutter nanobots and laser tripwires. Its the sort of place where a flushing loo is considered posh, so any fancy security just highlights the fact you have something to protect.

I have returned from holidays! Normal service resumes...

Doggers, after a nice meal, and a couple of drinks at her place, you get on to the subject at hand. She has not heard of either of them, but is willing to check around (discreetly) and see if she can dig anything up for you. She will get back to you by the following evening (by the end of day 2).
