They said no, so I'm making a new account. If others want to get started again we can make a non-rule-breaking clan later.

Tracey wrote: Hello buzzmong,

Im fine thanks, and regardless of what you may or may not say the bans are not being lifted as i have already told your tribesmate.

Sexual terms of any nature are NOT allowed, and you seemed fit to not only use them for village names, but to then add your site link which is again against the rules as links to other sites bar sites run by innogames are also not allowed.

As for the language on your site, It is totally inappropriate and as a mother of four children i wouldnt allow them to join it.

me wrote: Why hello Tracey, thank you for your response.

I do presume via the very quick response and slightly side stepping the issue that you've only skim read my appeal? Fair enough, that is your prerogative after all.

Although, interesting point, so the issue is with how we conduct our selves on our own seperate website which is completely seperate to the game? That's quite unusual considering googling certain common phrases will throw up much much more nastier sites than we could ever become, but I'd quite happily remove all links to it if that would please you, although it does gall me that you're asking me to step aside and basically leave part of my identity behind in order to play a game, normally that falls under facism, but I'd happily accept a change of name in order to keep on playing with my community friends as a community, can you think of any suitable identifiers that would be relevent to us? After all, we as a whole don't want to offend the sensibilties of people playing an online game in their spare time. We'd be open to all suggestions, although we do have a penchant for horses or kittens, both lovable creatures. We'd possibly accept something penguin related as well, as they're furry and sociable. They also bring us lunch but that's another matter entirely.

As for the mention of your children (congratulations by the way, it's nice to see intelligent people having larger families, especially as I'm the youngest of 4 brothers myself), and directly addressing one of the points I made, would you let them play a game such as this? A game where its core premise is strong violence? I ask because if the answer is no, then there is no reason for the issue with the colourful language I and my community have apparently used (barring one or two overt names) as those childen would not be exposed to it, surely?

I look forward to your measured and well balanced response,
buzzmong
Let's see what happens.

Yes children may google it and see it but I as both a Community Manager of this game, and as a parent have a duty to uphold the rules of this game.

Some rule breaches are dealt with by a time ban others by a perm ban, and in your case its a perm ban.

We can continue to debate this for every but the outcome is never going to change, all the accounts are going to stay banned.

As I have already told your tribesmate, im happy for you all to make new accounts, if you play by the rules which include no linking to your site, and no sexual account/tribe/village names, that choice is yours to make.
Didn't like the hypocrisy I pointed out and couldn't offer up a valid counter arguement to my claims :D

Moral victory :)

Failure to answer directly any of my or my collegues issues and just hiding behind draconian rules which still don't absolve you of the fact you're saying vulgar words are worse than violence. What happened to "Sticks and stones my break my bones, but words will never hurt me" ?

I do declare that as some sort of a moral victory, as you played the "think of the childen" card and promptly had it rebuked by a counter argument.

I also see your appearance on here are proof that you doubt your own judgement of us and came to see what we're really like, either that or you realise most of what I said was true and have decided to access us outside of the formal channels of communication set by the T&C's which you abide by.

Either way, Welcome to 5punk! Enjoy your stay and feel free to contribute!

You're the chanfag buzz! Said it yourself not too long ago.

And given you know full well what gtfo means it smacks of sudden care-bearism (that is now a word and yes, the queen would use it) on your part.

Why do this for someone who blithely ignores reasonable attempt at conversation and spouts generic rules at use that are neither interpreted or explained, merely rolled out ad nauseum?

Why try and appear overly reasonable to someone who represents a judgemental and blinkered online community?

Simply because I have a sense of decorum when it comes to people who have at least been polite.

Which I have to admit, is quite unusual for here, normally it's anger directed at us in an uncontrolled manner when we simply beat people in various games, which in that case I do respond as per usual, take this as the exception.
And I will admit to my occasional escapades on the chans, mostly to see what the next meme is going to be on the interwebs so I can avoid it.

Also, there's no Steam game scheduled for tomorrow night, is it DoD or Teef night this wednesday?

Woah woah woah.

Kittens?

But it's not an in-5punk argument, Kittens are reserved for that express purpose only, or making us roffle on the discoboard.

Polite is merely the way idiots avoid conflict.
