MO to the others wrote:I suppose the transbot that crashed into us wrecked the door opening system. I'm sure the friend computer wouldn't want to delay us in completing the mission. My previous suggestion still stands, should we try to forcefully open it?

Bess kneels down in front of the closed doors and eyeballs the lock dubiously.

Bess attempts to cut the lock with her hottorch.

It takes about 30 seconds to slice through the chassis and lock. One of the doors drops about half an inch in confirmation of the release.

Derek looks around the cart, and then back at the mangled door, before taking out his PDC.
It is considered insubordination to commit unauthorised vandalism out of the line of duty, so I shall seek authorisation.
I shall speak with friend Computer.

MO snorts, then slowly begins walking out through the space where there was a door earlier.
MO wrote:It's insubordination to commit vandalism, however I don't have to be a loyalty officer to know it is treason not to attempt to get to the briefing room. Besides, be happy and acknowledge, that transbot doesn't look any worse than it already is with a door missing.

Derek raises both eyebrows, still eerily smiling from Grif's pills.
I'm trying to make sure we get to the briefing room with as few problems as possible.
As it is, we can go now. Well done, Friend Bess!

Friends, let there be no enmity between us. Enmity speaks of unhappiness, and unhappiness is treason.

How about a joke to lighten the mood? Did you hear about the mutant who didn't have a nose? He smelt terrible!

Erm, would someone like to wake Geoff from his slumbers? Quite why he needs to sleep during the day is beyond me - sure;y his nightly dose of sleeping pills would have enabled him to have a good nights rest.

Then again I don't want to make myself late for the briefing - shall we all continue onwards and let him catch up in his own time?

Through the shattered doors you see a RED clearance platform, from which lead three doors:

A RED door labeled SPD30/C125
A YELLOW door labeled SPD15/C120
A BLUE door labeled SPD75/C80

Derek scoops both arms underneath Geoff's shoulders and carries him out, heading towards the RED door.
Well.. Come on then, let's be on our way. I'm eager to begin!

The interior of SPD30/C125 is not large; perhaps four meters by five. A few low, moderately uncomfortable-looking chairs are set along two of its walls. A large viewscreen dominates the third wall. It is currently off. A small clerk’s counter stands against the fourth wall with a RED Clearance door next to it. The lighting is very low. You’re not sure if the effect is soothingly subdued or unnervingly dim.

Everyone in the room make a stealth/high alert roll.
