Me likes this.Grimmie wrote:Vampire: The masquerade - Redemption (Predeccesor to Bloodlines, the very buggy source based game) seemed to carry a very interesting, if somewhat beardy co-op mode, from the little research I've just done. Consisting of player-made and played characters assembling on a map, with a single player acting as a game-master, dungeons and dragons stylee.. All set in the seductive world of the vampires..
Dont suppose there are any other game modes/mods for games hanging around like this? Or better yet some decent "Lets do the single-player mission together!" games? I think Black-Mesa source were trying to do that?

References I can find point to chickenmod being based off AMX - while that did have an option to become a chicken, I'm not sure if the mod was really based off it.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:done.

I wouldn't bother. There's an enormous bug which means you cannot progress any further than a collapsing cave, which affects pretty much all copies of the game, even fully patched. The company never fixed these catastrophic bugs before they fell into liquidation.Roman Totale wrote: I got fucking close to completing Bloodlines, then my hard drive died. No I got past that bit - there is some sort of haxxing code you can type in to get you clear of the cave. Can't remember which site it was on, but Google it and it should appear.Grimmie wrote:I wouldn't bother. I had a go at that once but it was all a bit too gothy for me and the guy that ran it was a cock. I kept insisting I wanted to play a werewolf just to piss him and his freaky vampire-wannabe girlfriend off.Sheriff Fatman wrote:I used to play the table top version as well (I still have my character sheet), White Wolf games are ace
The normal patch worked for me...Roman Totale wrote:

Then you can look forward to being chased by a fucking massive werewolf later on in the game.
Edit: Here you go
SWAT 4 is ok, not played it co-op mind, but the game itself is pretty cool. I haven't the patience for games like that so I have never finished it. I can send you my copy for an indefinate period if you are really interested.friznit wrote:Hidden & Dangerous 2 and Conflict: Global Terror look like suitably mindless coop shooty things and probably quite sweep uppable. SWAT4 is apparently very good too. Might try them if I could be arsed to search the floor.
It's still fairly buggy, but nothing I have come across has been bad enough to prevent my progress or ruin the experience. They seem fairly random IMO. I have had occasions where certain people just don't talk to me anymore, on any other day they have been fine.Grimmie wrote:Hmmph.
I installed one of those unofficial patches and was thusly stuck in santamonica.
Whenever I went near the hospital that Ghoul chappy would pop up and crash the game.
