thought i might as well add my rig to the line up, think a monitor and a faster graphics card is needed, well wanted, not needed, but there is very little difference to me, im very bad at saving money.

MOBO-abit an8v, value because i didnt want the otes fans wasting space

CPU-amd 64 skt939 3800+ @2.4-3GHz, dependent on overclock levels, venice core, bought for 80 quids cos they released am2.

GPU-ati 1900gt, bought on offer for just over 100 quids, so i didnt miss out on the 1950 gs (or whatever) being cheaper and faster, lucky that.

RAM-3 Gb of corsair value pc3200, nice and swift, turned my pagefile off and reaped the rewards in speed and stability, esp in oblivion.

DRIVE- a lonely lg dvd/cdrw combi, does all that i need though, might get a dvdrw at some point, just because its shiny technology. got a floppy somewhere too, just for because.

HDD- 1x160Gb western digital caviar, 1x250Gb western digital caviar, think a raptor may be bought at some point, just for getting windows up faster.

MONITOR-19" acer lcd 8ms response, no ghosting on this, want bigger, might buy a dell or even a huge hdtv and use it for my 360 as well.

STUFF- logitech wireless mouse an keyboard lots of buttons, dont use them all, but they work well, speakers are little 2.1's from logitech, not a bad sound considering they cost 12 quids and are smaller in size than my hand.

think thats it! :)

1. Nice RAM
2. I like how all your components have a history
3. Your avatar scares me (although not as much as Grimmie's old one)
4...
5. Profit!

I've started a thread about your pagefile solution, it intrigues me: http://www.5punk.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=5592

erm...hmm. let me see if I've got this right.

AMD Athlon 64 processor 3700+
2.21 GHz (2.21 gigawatts??!)
960mb RAM (eh?)
Radeon x1600 (I may have 2 of these)
dvd-rw thing
150G hard drive, and all kinds of memory card slots
tft monitor...looks about 17"
a keyboard full of crumbs
scrolly mouse - logitech
some lovely speakers - also logitech.

I think that is it. I'm mostly reading from the device manager, as I can't remember it off by heart.
