Regrettably, I'm off to Alton Towers and then the Nottingham Beer Festival. Believe me, the body is willing, but the diary is full :(

Ooh, Mrs Pants wants to take me to that. She bought me some beer ice cream last year. It was fucking horrible.

 Get Sprog Pants started on the beers early. That way, not only will she grow up to be a girl that likes beer, but also alcohol won't be such a novelty so she's less likely to be horribly irresponsible with it. In theory. Let me know if you do end up going this year as we could meet up and share a pint.

Will do. Work has nothing planned for me that weekend, and her Dad will most likely drive so I can <strike>get hammered</strike> taste some beers.

Awesome. I propose that we should maybe get advance tickets as it looks like a good deal.

Agreed. I'll go about sorting it when we know how many are joining us for Alton Towers etc.

okay, replied in the scheduler that i can make it if i get a ride out of london. Since bobbins cannot make it, i'll probably not make it either, since a trainride all the way to brum seems a bit long/expensive.

As far as I can tell, Profhawking is the nearest to Londinium out of the Bashers.

Should be less than 2 hours, quicker than a car journey, and if you book in advance you can get cheap tickets, usually the '2 single fares' option ~£25 at a guess?

I'm sure we can all throw a couple of quid in each if that's the case :)
