And I thought I was the only one getting that. W7, FF3.5.8, never noticed any trends in it.

Yup. That's my experience as well. I come in through the front page (using the woof-woof-woof) and if it takes more than a few seconds to open the forums it's guaranteed that I will be logged out.

That's a good point- where do you bookmarks point? I'll split this off in to a new topic.

I don't go to the FP, and rarely get logged out.

Mine points to forum index, still get logged out quite a lot, but admittedly, it isn't as bad as coming from the front page.

All of this.

Work is just shit so I expect to be logged out after a period of inactivity. But it is annoying when it does at home and I suddenly go from lots of blue jizz stains to none. Please fix it toast!

I haven't been logged out for ages, used to happen a bit at work, but not in the last six months at home.

I always go to http://www.5punk.co.uk/phpbb/index.php and use FF3.6 over Win7x64. I havent actually looked at the front page (until just now) since the TeamSpack stuff changed.

I'm often logged out when idle but I put that down to my browser privacy settings. It doesn't happen on all the machines I use to access 5punk.

So if you leave it open on, say, the forum index for... how long?... when you refresh you're logged out. Is that right? Is it reproducible?

:above: pretty much this for me. the front page doesn't really have much info that I find useful, unless I want to check who's on TS and that's generally just as easy as loading up TS anyways. It hasn't logged me out yet.

I've been able to reproduce one specific logout circumstance: if I accidentally open more than one window of Firefox (which all obviously load the forum index immediately), I get logged out. Local session conflict?

Yeah, that's the only circumstance I've ever been logged out, I think. I've always considered it a cack-hand tax :)
I'll see what I can find out about it.

When I was in South Africa using my Nokia N800 (using the built in Maemo browser) I found that I would log in going via 5punk.co.uk it would then go back to being logged out, and when I re-logged in again I would have no posts to read.

Happened several times.

(never a problem at home, but I always go in via http://www.5punk.co.uk/phpbb/search.php ... d=newposts with my password remembered)

Just used the bookmark to get to the front page, logged out and lost my "unread posts".

Using FF 3.6.
