Easier path gets the vote from me.

Any rolls I can do that might help us last a bit longer against the cold? Not sure if biology can translate easily into "how not to die".

There is no response from Jon, he's still blatting about throwing huge plumes of snow up as he goes.

In terms of the cold, I'll not ask for a roll for you to point out that keeping wrapped up is essential as the temp drops. For everything else not directly biology related it'll be survival based.

Roll a hearing perception please!

I think I have less dice for that than Deject got hits (maybe equal, but meh) so Jon will dump the snowmobile and stomp off after the others

Roll willpower 1 + charisma 4 and post the results. If you pass you can walk away, if you don't you're still in the grip of adrenaline.

Enough to heed Alvrins words...

...Alvrin notices a gentle beeping sound start from the gps systems as Jon's snowmobile parks up with the rest.

Seeing as Joose is greasing up sweaty Mediterranean men -

Ingress spends all of less than a second showing that the gps is now guiding something to this spot. At the same time the drones above you alert Ingress to incoming and at a very high speed.

As for where you are - standing in a group near your snowmobiles between the two scree slopes that climb out of the valley, they're a few hundred metres apart at this point.

Jon continues stomping up the path, still in a huff about not being able to continue on the snowmobiles

Let's pick a slope and get out of the valley. Is there much in the way of cover on the way up?

Rocks, trees, snow drifts etc. I'm thinking you're taking the easier roundabout route.

As you all move clear and head up the slope out the valley the heavy snow filled cloud is split by the screech of jets. The cluster of snowmobiles disappear in a huge explosion like the mutants did earlier. Chunks of metal and plastic rain down around the crater, the noise causing numerous small drifts of snow to fall as it reverberates around the valley.

Looks like the drone guy lied about not having the range...

I would think if he wanted to kill us, he'd make sure with those drones, and if they have any sort of thermographic scanners they'd pick us up like flares considering how cold it is out here. I think there might be some other reason why he'd blow them up.
