You find a location at the other end of the tunnel. Not as concealed, but it should do the trick.

Is there anywhere facing the alley that some of us could hole up in?

One end is a residential building, the other has a sleazy looking bar below more residential building.

I suggest setting up in the bar.
Once the others take up their positions, let's get on with the waiting.

Kt'rr isn't exactly built for subtlety or hiding, so I'll make sure im well out of view in the bar, and wait for word from those that can see what's happening.

Eraser will place himself in the corner off the bar where he can see the targets well enough to evaluate.

I assume Dirk will do the same then. Let's get on with it!

After an hour or so two anonymous looking characters enter the alley from Deject's end and begin talking to the Vets.

Evaluate oponents - 5+9+10 = 24!
I'm gonna regret that come combat...

They move like they're combat trained, and they've got an athleticism to them that would suggest Kick Murder or similar.

Grimmie wriggles his nose and props his gun up on the bar surface with his bipod, finding the best position to aim from without uncovering his position.
I'll begin aiming at the head of one of them
now. My marksman skill of 5 should allow me to get some hefty positives if I'm aiming in real time.
I'm using my bipod and 1000m scope, if it's too dark I'll switch it to IR mode too.
Grimmie, quietly over comms wrote:So, are we blasting them if they start hauling one of the warriors away, or is someone going to play peacekeeper and go and talk to them?

You're climbing over the bar and setting up your rifle on it, to fire through the window?

Can I hear anything that they're saying?
Also, I will take aim at one of the men's legs, taking as much time as I can.

That was my tactics roll, to see if I could find any better spot to snipe from, other than poking my fat bepainted manhead over the bar.
Didn't make it clear, sorry.

Not from where you are. You can make a detect roll though.

You notice one of them pass one of the vets a small bundle of cash. Then they move on to another one.

deej makes sure to get lots of footage of the two guys talking to rust vets, and if possible, any more payments made and the people paid.
deej on the comm wrote:Hey they're paying off one of the rustbuckets, and they're probably going to pay another one or two. I don't know, but isn't that the sort of thing Dark Night does to recruit people? If these rustbuckets were any good and they're getting refurbished by DarkNight SLA might have a bigger problem than they thought. Are we still waiting for them to leave so we can follow or should we try and grab them now?
