Well if I do wake up before we conclude this, I have a higher spellcraft.

Let's move this along to the next day, where you're awake.

Yeah, double-fails. Never mind.
What're you gonna do then, guys?

To haggle selling items is it a Diplomacy roll plus the power of ROLE PLAY?
Edit: also at some point I would like to try and get up lodging at an inn etc. Will that be before or after gem selling? I also want to wow the crowds at said inn with tales of our exploits. If it is suitably epic, would the rest of the townsfolk get to hear about us?

See what we can get for the gems (no doubt anything will be a surprise to me), sell the pigs, divide the loot. Maybe keep hold of the magics until we can ID them, or try a few experiments.
While we're at it, maybe we can work out what kind of out-of-adventure skills we need. Spellcraft and Appraising we've encountered, Roman's just mentioned haggling (Diplomacy). It'll be useful if a few of us could specialise in something like that each. I've not put any points into Appraise, so I'm on the basic +2. If anyone wants to take that one on feel free, otherwise I'll do it.

Aye, sounds about right!

That can be a <a href="

Roight, I'll do the haggling thing now and the Perform thing later.
Diplomacy 1d20 + 5
18,+5 = 23, hot damn!
Glibberig enters the shop with a flourish and a whistle to the shopkeeper.

Dear sir, rejoice for I, Glibberig, famous Bard and adventurer, have decided to patronise your fine establishment!
Please, try not to faint - I understand it must be quite overwhelming to be in my presence, but I am here to conduct trade. Commerce. Business. The transfer of goods for money. I'm sure you know what I mean.
I have here, fresh from my recent thrilling and death defying adventures in an Orc infested dungeon, several rare and beautiful gems. I am sure you will be willing to pay good coin to have these in your collection...

The local jewellers, "The Sparkling Emerald" is owned by a tall, middle-aged elf with half-moon glasses perched on the end of his hooked nose. He's well attired in a finely tailored navy-blue velvet suit, ruffled cotton cuffs and collar.
For no apparent reason, the shop smells strongly of mint. All around the walls are display cases showing collections of finely cut stones, gems and minerals. There's a sign above the counter that reads.. "
All cases are alarmed; look with your eyes, not with your hands."
The owner seems sufficiently wowed by your grand entrance, and he's already admiring the various beads you've decorated yourself with.
Very nice to make your acquaintance!
I am Siradion Ohihnaah Sesostahd, but you may call me Sirrah.
Now let's see what you've bought me.
After pushing his fingers through the various gems you've offered up, and bringing one or two up to an eyepiece, he offers 408 gold pieces.

Either the elf is using NLP to suggest that we might want to buy something, or Grimmie is suffering from a bad case of illiteracy.

Or you're just being picky.

Sold!
So we have:
300 copper
170 silver
500 gold
408g from the gems
200g from the pigs (4 was it?)
Ivory token in the shape of a dove's feather
3x special arrows
Since we don't know what the (presumably) magic items are I suggest we just hang onto them until we work it out and distribute them then.
Have I missed anything?
Divided into 5 that gives us each:
60 copper
34 silver
221 gold
And leaves 3 gold, the arrows and the feather as party loot. I might suggest that 3g goes towards Thoroar's recoup costs.
Is that right?

If any of our spellcasters wishes I can scribe a scroll for them for a spell I know and they can try to learn it (if their class allows, I'm not exactly sure if only wizards need scrolls to learn spells). Of course it costs XP so I won't do more than a few.
