LOL I think I had been typing a response and had to do something else and forgot about it.
I have my AV stalk and two mini-cams. I have one cam set up watching the entrance we came in so we're not going to get ambushed from that direction. You have an idea on where to set up the other one?

Just keep the other one on you. I reckon we move through the facility as one group now. If we start at the end (where the goods come off the line) and work backwards, we should find out where the contamination starts.
How far from the "end" are we Pants?

Not far. The plant's basically a square, so the raw materials and finished product both are handled in the area you're in now. There's a few hoppers and things around that you've noticed, which look like they're there for adding various chemicals and small-quantity ingredients.

I'll do some Detecting then. I roll a few times for each stage of the process that I can see.

While it's more Deject's thing, digging around in the bins by the hoppers produces lots of Karma packaging, and one stands out as being unusual. It's inner packaging only, but where the rest of it is all brown cardboard boxes, this one is white plastic and looks more expensive. It also has "Karma Research Labs - Handle With Care" printed on the top. It's not necessarily damning, but of all the masses of packaging you've seen around here it stands out.

I'll take a picture and send it over to Daniels.

I'd like to head back to the terminal I was at earlier and look up anything related to the Karma Research Labs. If that comes up blank, I'll start looking for another terminal to check out.

Computer use roll please. I think you hacked the system earlier.

The shipping logs don't show anything from Karma Labs, but about a week ago there's an entry under 'preservatives' which has a very different serial number from the rest. It stands out like a Stormer at a ballet class.

Does the log show who ordered this stuff in? I think it's safe to assume that wherever it has come from is dodgy, but there might be someone on the inside too.

Yeah I would like to see everything related to these "preservatives."

There doesn't seem to be any ordering system, looks like it's just sent from "Karma Logistics Dispatch Centre 1187".

deej to Mr Daniels wrote:Mr Daniels, I found an odd entry for a delivery of "preservatives" from a Karma Logistics Dispatch Centre #1187. I can't find any more information but the entry in the logs here stuck out like a flare on the Ice Worlds. The serial number attached is *insert serial number here*.

Yeah. Thought so. There was a mix up at the lab. Some offworld chem plant got a batch of chemical food preservatives. They must be pissed.

This whole thing is a label mix up?

Daniels wrote:Well I was hoping you'd prove me wrong. The records suggested they might have got two batches mixed up. Those logistics guys had better like travelling, because they've earned themselves a posting to Artery. Never mind. Think you can clean this up? Find us some convenient scapegoat? The media's going to want something to show for this. Erm, we could turn it into something positive for the firm.

We'll see what we can do. Did any of the employees at this plant have any history with Shatter or inklings of subversive tendencies?
I'm thinking we should plant the evidence on one of the deceased and digested employees and make it look like either he was just tripping balls or was a subversive. Also we should make a full sweep of the facility to see if anyone was able to hide somewhere or if we can make sure that everyone here who isn't us is dead.
edit: if it isn't obvious I'm totally on board with the cover up. Unless a majority of you guys are against it, I'm going to assist Mr Daniels with those efforts.
