I'm gonna pick my shots now as I'm only hitting one a burst anyhow...
Rifle: 10,6,+2 =18 (mods mods are I think) -2 Range -2 moving target =14.

Detect: 7, 3 + 8 = 18
I'm out of combat and backing away. How quickly can I get to where I'm going?

One more Sub falls. Roman, you walk at 1m per phase, so it'll probably take a couple of rounds. I expect combat'll be over by then.
EDIT: Oh yeah, the detects. Smiler stands up.

Well, I'm not sure whether we need to or not... They're about 75 metres away according to DP and if I get better shots with the pistol, I'll use less ammo per guy I take out.
So I'm unsure what to do...

Single fire is different from the Suppressive Fire. If you're going to use singe fire you need to bring to bear and all that.

Another two fall to Deject's fire.
As Deej said, if you're firing normally you first need to bring to bear. The next phase you can fire a wild shot at -3 or you can aim. If you aim you get normal roll with no modifiers. You can keep aiming for as long as your marksmanship and get a +1 for each, so the longer you prepare your shot the more effective it will be. However, you'll have to repeat the process for each target, so in this case, assuming you hit every time, you'll have to bring to bear every other action.

If I recall correctly (here without my reference sheet) you can aim five times.
The sixth requires a firing stance, the seventh requires a rest. Anything after that requires points in marksmanship.
Full aims with 10 marksmanship will give you a +16 to hit. Blammo!

Yeah, that. I couldn't remember the precise rules off the top of my head, but that sounds right to me.

Could I aim multiple times with the machine pistol or would that be useless?
Posted: September 8th, 2009, 9:48
by Dog Pants
Yeah, you could aim at a target and use automatic fire to direct it all at the one guy in the same way you would a single shot.

DP, in this situation would I have to bring to bear on each individual target, or seeing as they're all in a big fat group just adjust my aim each time?

Each target. I suppose realistically you could just aim at the crowd and blaze away, but I'd have to start making rules up about target area modifiers and I don't want to have to brain that in the middle of combat.

I gotta wait till 4 to pull the trigger and make Mr. Smiley fall down again.
I think almost everyone else acts on 3 though.
