Well we could all do with some downtime.

I'm assuming you want to play item identification and milling around the town.
If not, someone can take on that task as downtime and we can sort it out over Xfire or PMs after you've distributed your gold and I've dished out XP.

Thor's also fine in the forest has all he needs for that, shall we meet back up when everyone's fully operational? Sort out the loot and go shopping then?

Those Cure Light Wounds sure would be useful between adventures. Does anyone else have useful skills? I've pretty much revealed mine I think (appraising, I'm better at it than I look, honest).
I really want to identify and divide the loot so we can get our XP and go spending.

Not I. Thor is at home in the woods and has skills to match - survival, tracking, hunting, healing. It's rare the animals need to be bluffed, appraised, entertained or bartered with. Or seduced - that was just a rather strange great uncle of his who married a bear. The marriage didn't last long.

I wonder if Bardic Knowledge will be useful as we arrive in town:
A Bard picks up a lot of stray knowledge while wandering the land and learning stories from other bards. He may make a special bardic knowledge check with a bonus equal to his bard level + his Intelligence modifer to see whether he knows some relevant information about local notable people, legendary items, or noteworthy places.
14,+1 = 15
I've also got Diplomacy, so I could try negotiating a good price for the gems, or even boarding at the inn for everyone.

Yo Grimdog, my Bardic Knowledge do anything?

I've added a house rule, gadzooks! It's designed to help identify magic items. Take a look-see.
Most of it has come from the WOTC site, and there are a lot of forum users that swear by this house rule.

Roman, you don't recognise anything in your hoard as 'legendary'.
You've heard folklore that the Iron Man statue in Orhedge is a petrified Paladin of Pelor, who helped protect the town in its infancy.
You've also probably heard of <a href="

Looks good to me Grim, and presumably well tested by the vets on the boards.
Also, that stone paladin theory could be tested one day by virtue of a stone to flesh spell. Course if it turns out to be a normal statue it could create an awful mess...
So, what are we waiting for now, other than item IDs and wizzerd recouperation?

Thoroar will probably be fine after a night's rest and necking some of Orovan's Goodberries, or at least concious and moving.
So, just identification left, unless someone wants to haggle at selling stuff?

I have Diplomacy of 5 - if no one else has higher then I could do the negotiating.

What's there to sell? Pigs I suppose, gems depending on how much we think they're worth, and whatever the goodies turn out to be if we don't want them. I'll appraise the pigs so we can sell them on;
Roll(1d20)+2:
5,+2
Total:7
Bah.
So, anyone got Spellcraft and fancies IDing these things?

Judging by how much the butcher sells pork for, you reckon you could sell them on to him for 50gp each.

Spellcraft 1d20+4
2,+4 = 6
I don't know nothing!

I thought bards rolled a different stat for identifying things?

Bardic knowledge lets them identify 'legendary' items.
Unsurprisingly the foot-locker of an Orc doesn't contain any.

Don't know whether to put this in the Minecraft thread or here. I made a replica of the goblin caves on the Minecraft server, just west of the entrance to the Grimbode and a short walk north east of the spawn. Please be aware, if you want to go see, the lighting is authentic and it may contain traces of creeper. Also, please don't steal the treasure if you find it.
