Well between you you spot not one but two groups of creatures tracking your progress. These look different again to the normal lumpy ones and the shrieky one you saw earlier. Longer in their gait and moving fast enough to lope along at the same speed as the snowmobiles.
They're flitting through the trees some distance to either side of your convoy (hundreds of metres). Jon is able to enumerate sufficiently to approximate 20+ per group and once again a few of each group are slightly different to the others.

Jasper fishes around in his coat and produces various bones and trinkets before feeling wobbly on the skidoo and giving up.

Assuming Deej has sent us the directions, shall we set up a counter-attack then?

I'd rather take on one group head on than wait for both to get us in a pincer.

Taking on 40+ of them, whilst sounding like fun is going to put a large dint in my ammo. Would it not be a better idea to try and out run them?

If we can, definitely.

Agreed, try speed first, then we can hole up and try to fight them if speed fails.

So you're all running away at speed on the snow mobiles?
Each one is currently set at a safe rate of travel for the route, this can be pushed by another 25% before the warning chimes kick in, faster than that you're going to have to take massive risks or try and drive them manually -
The related skill is ground craft - the attribute is reaction - the handling modifier is +1.

Aaaah, that's what you fellas wanted. I just thought the radio was picking up some drunk hillbilly again.
I'll send some drones to your location.

Oh you were picking up a drunk hillbilly. I don't understand him half the time. Thanks for the help. The damn things are about a hundred meters on either side of us as far as I can tell.
