Yeah, im happier with being able to see who is in a suit, papping themselves, and who is in combat gear.
As for a plan, I vote for kick door, run in, shoot anyone who looks at us funny.
I know this is worryingly like a plan, but how about:
Eraser charges in first, as he is close combat so could do with using the element of surprise to close the distance and, like TSD says, can get up again if shot (as long as he doesn't die).
I move in, shoot baddies directly ahead.
Deej moves in, shoots baddies from the extreme left.
Grimmie moves in, shoots baddies from the extreme right.
You guys move targets inwards, I'll move outwards. That way we minimise the risk of all of us blowing the head off the same guy at once.
Bali, you melee or ranged?

It's not barricaded. It's fairly tough, being a fire door, but that just keeps it in one piece as you propel it into the room.
Behind the door is a large airy room which you are in the middle of. You can see unobstructed to the two visible elevator shafts, and indeed the ourter glass walls. The roof is also glass, angling upwards and focusing the light into the room, illuminating a generously sized seating are with plush leather sofas flanked by a pair of classic sports cars on angled plinths. On the sofas are sat ten terrified looking humans in expensive business suits. Behind them, spaced evenly across the room and in firing stances, are six DarkNight. The DN Ops are wearing large looking armour you've not seen before, and are carrying what look like several different large assault rifles which you've also not seen before.
Bullet time then;
For your reference, the DN Ops are 30m away (varies with position but say 30 for simplicity. The middle pair of DN (3, 4) are kneeling behind sofas looking down their sights. The next pair out (2, 5) are standing at the edge of the seating area opening fire from the hip, and the outer pair (1, 6) are kneeling in the open near the cars looking down their sights.

Modifiers:
Target Kneeling: -1 (DN 1, 3, 4, 6)
Cover: -3 (DN 3, 4) No PV but hostages are providing the cover.
Range: 30m
DN are 8m seperated from each other (that's -8 trying to hit multiple targets with suppressive fire)
So base modifiers by DN;
1: -1
2: 0
3: -4
4: -4
5: 0
6: -1
Phase 1
Two of the DN (2, 5) open up with suppressive fire at the doorway;
17 = 1 round hits: 8 PEN 8 DAM 3 AD
23 = 1 round hits: 8 PEN 11 DAM 3 AD
The others either bring to bear or aim.

Okay, here's how I see it.
Melee dudes take the outer two, flanking the line. This means that only one person will be able to shoot at them at once.
I'm going to stay kneeling and aim at the guys taking cover behind the sofas, hopefully I'll be able to work in enough aims to get a clean kill.
Brainrot and Dirk, it would be handy if you helped soften up the outer targets with something blasty before our close-combat guys reach their target.
Anyone got anything to add?
If worst comes to the worst I still have one of my zappy bullets left, and I can take one of them out of combat for 30s.
So, I'm bringing to bear at DN3.

Yet again, 30m, I need to get at least 2 phases closer. I'll get in there once there's less shit aimed at us or at least they're more spread out.Grimmie wrote:Brainrot and Dirk, it would be handy if you helped soften up the outer targets with something blasty before our close-combat guys reach their target.
Also, I hope you noted, what we see is about 1/4 of the room, we have no clue what's in the rest of it.

Since Eraser was waiting for everyone else to give him some room, I assumed he was the only person near the doorway. So it's him that gets hit with fire. There's plenty more rounds to hit anyone who wants to be stood behind him though. Assuming that on 1 Eraser follows the door into the room, that leaves enough room for another person to take up position in the doorway, but they'll block it for anyone else wanting to come through.
