You're not under any time pressure, and there are four of you to carry one downed man and a string of roped piggies. I don't see why not. Camilla's happy to lend a helping hump.
The travel back to town goes without a hitch, but it's late evening by the time you arrive back.
The guardsmen high up on lookout at the town gate nod towards the returning troupe.

I see you've bought some company. Only reputable sorts I hope?

You and your crew best come on through then.
This is probably a good time to point your attentions to the <a href="http://www.5punk.co.uk/wiki/index.php?t ... Orhedge</a> entry on the Wiki.
There are a couple of maps of different sizes (Large and HOOOJ) for your perusal, if you want to find boarding in different places, buy specific stuff, or just explore the place.
I'll probably add more to it later, but it's a start.

A flushed nurse comes to the door and looks at the battered and bloodied wizard flopping over the side of Camilla, staring at him with wide eyes.
She promises to take good care of him, so long as you pay the 5 silver per-night cost for care and bedding.
Putting him here equates to getting a full day's rest, and 2hp gained over 24 hours.
As Shot2Bits pointed out, he can come speed the process up with goodberry later on.
Simple houses in Orhedge go for about 80 Platinum (or 800 gold).
The human and dwarven inn provide shelter for 5sp a night, the elven inn charges 1gp a night.
None of them are fussy about their patrons, so long as they can pay.

So, our loot:
3x special arrows
20 small gems
4 medium gems
300 copper
170 silver
500 gold
Ivory token in the shape of a dove's feather
I'd like to suggest we pay for Thoroar's first night out of the kitty and after that he can find his own lodgings and heal with Orovan. Then we get the goodies identified with the cash and get the gems appraised by someone who isn't me. We can then split the remaining cash (and gems to Oro - ironic nickname for someone who can't carry gold). I'd say we either get the gear valued and 'buy' them off the rest of the group if you want them, or agree to give them to the ones most likely to benefit on the understanding that we'll be trying to distribute gear fairly and for the benefit of the group as a whole.
Just my suggestion though.

I agree we should get Thoroar back on his feet, paying for however long that takes - it may be a few days, but it's hardly going to break the bank.
The rest of us could take the opportunity to rest and heal at the same time. When he's back among the upright, we may find he has some skill identifying some of the stuff.
Orovan might need some help with the inn/shopkeepers if he has supplies he needs where they'll only take coin.

Gems are treated as liquid cash, or "trade goods" for the purposes of the game. Shopkeepers are more likely to know the value of small, common gems and stones as they deal in them on a day-to-day basis. Alternatively you can head to the Office of Commerce at the south of the town to get trade-goods valued properly.
Of course, some people exchange them for the simple fact that it's more satisfying to roll around in a mountain of gold coins.
As for identifying magical things, you can either take it to a librarian who will do some research over time, take it to a shop who trades in goods of that nature (at a cost), or cast a level 1 spell such as identify to figure it all out (also at material component cost).

Well, now we have arrived in town, I don't think you need to carry my pack any more Mr. Shankley. I must say, I'm most appreciative of the fact that you've carried it all this time. I even thought of offering to carry it myself after you were badly injured, but you just got up and soldiered on! Bravo, sir!

Depends how much you want to fast-forward Orhedge time.
Do Orovan and Thor mind sleeping rough in the forests, or are they getting a bed at an inn?
I'm assuming the rest of the party are also finding lodgings for the night.
If Thoroar gets a day of rest and Orovan feeds him some Goodberries, or blasts him with a Cure Light Wounds then your wizard should be fully functional again, give or take a few HP.
