War Horse - Spielberg's new one, based on a highly rated play which uses impressive life-size horse puppets. This looks like saccharin bullshit.

I was going to post the new Mission Impossible trailer, but I genuinely felt brain damaged after watching it.

Mrs. Johnson is going to love this one, she's always been complaining about not having a ginger Disney heroine since the little mermaid.

I kind of get sigh, but at the same time it's got some real talent in there. It might turn out to be quite good.

Yeah, some interesting actors involved. Is it considered a sacrilege to make a film of the book or something? I'm only aware of the title.

It's probably the greatest line up of actors ever seen in a film. A TV series was already made of it, with the impeccable Alec Guinness as George Smiley - no one could ever really replace him (John le Carre even said he started to characterise Smiley after watching AG in the adaptation). The sigh from me was partly the fact that Gary Oldman appears to be doing an Alec Guinness impression (a fresh approach would have been better) and that there is too much plot to condense into a 2hr+ film. I have a horrible feeling they'll also try and make it "sexy" - I hope to god I'm proved wrong though, as this would be the perfect anathema to the aforementioned bollocksfest that is Mission Impossible.
Despite sounding negative, I'm actually really looking forward to it - it's just Oldman playing Guinness that makes me wary.

Ewan McGregor didn't do a very good job of it.

It's like a Cuban Shaun of the dead.

Actually, I think it

Heh, looks interesting.
I've now seen some of the original Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy TV series and it's very good. A little baffling due to spy language and intrigue, but well worth persevering.

That looks awesome. Somewhere between Shaun and Dawn by the looks of it. Shame about the fast zombies.

It doesn't look to bad actually, like Indiana Jones for kids.

Oooh! I really liked the first one, and this looks pretty good too. Also nice to see girl from original 'Girl With A...' films get some Hollywood time.
Edit: I also like one of the comments on there:
"Only on iTunes Trailers..."
Oh Robert, don't you know this is the internet?

I remember reading about it a while back, but up until now there hasn't been much publicity about it. I can't stop listening to the song used in the trailer (a
Peter Gabriel cover of an Arcade Fire song if anyone is interested).

Oh, and apparently Brian Blessed plays 'the pirate king' in this, it wouldn't surprise me if they wrote the role for him.
