Astral projecting shoots you around fast as hell. You could be back in your body in a few seconds, and then over to the car in a few more.

The biker gang all look rather unsettled, and fuck off at speed. One fires his gun in the air whooping.

I will cover exits for now. You decide if you wish to act tonight, or tomorrow.
I'll fly my biker-stationed LEBD back to pick up my Dragonfly, whilst keeping my facility-stationed LEBD out of sight - but looking at the car park entrance that was just used.

When my Dragonfly is hooked up, assuming the LEDB flies faster, I'll have it ferried over to where the first one is, and wait for replies from the team before I decide whether or not to send it in for further scouting.

Frank wrote:Jon, WE won't be charging anywhere. Even if we end up storming the place you'll be outside ready to roll. You're a driver right? Then you get to drive. And you leave the fighting to the fighters.

Good work Nik, right now the LEBD drone should stay quiet. If you get that snooper drone on the way then we can use that to get a sneaky beak. Can you drive and get that drone on target at the same time?

We still need to hit the barrens target. Moving in on another target, no matter how likely it looks, means we could be leaving important information at the other site.

As it is I think the guys over at the club need to assess whether they can pick up more info or whether they should thin out before over exposing. We'll continue to the barrens target.

N-zo, any angles on the Yakuza meet would be good. As complete a picture as possible. We need to know who's going to try and kill us, and why.

Al wrote:Well, as I see it our remaining options here are push this dealer for info on the girl and see what we can get on the meeting in the back room. I dunno what else we can get out of the dealer, and asking about her directly might attract attention, but it might be worth a shot before we go. Depends on his loyalties I suppose. The back room gig I think would do more harm than good if we tried to get directly in. Leland might be able to do his Casper thing and float in there for a look though.

After returning to my body and getting a location from Nikolai, Leland zooms in astral space to the apartment, and tries to find the courier, as well as assensing the area.

Perception (4) + Intuition (4) = 3, 5, 5, 3, 5, 5, 3, 1: 4 hits.

Assensing (4) + Intuition (4) = 1, 2, 4, 1, 4, 1, 3, 6: 1 hit.

right so, exploit+comp+cerebral enhancement = 8 dice

1 - 1, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 6 = 3
2 - 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 6 = 1

Nikolai over Comms wrote:If I am to leave a drone contingency here, I must stay in the area. Maximum range of Commlink is four kilometers.
Either I bring fliers with me, and we go to barrens, or I scout and we stay here.
Edit
My commlink is signal 5 - my drone is signal 3, which is 400m.
If I want to recieve information I have to stay within 400m.
I can issue commands to return/whatever within signal 5's 4km though.

If I am going to be driving away from there though I want to do it in my own vehicle, it would be fun trying to do it in a limo, but probably not the best for a high speed getaway.

And I'm there as well, ready to fuck them all up as long as there aren't any awakened people there who could spot me.

Unfortunately...

When you get to the corp place, there's a couple of spirits roaming the perimeter. You can try and sneak past if you want, but odds are they will spot you.

Before you all go "OMG UBER SECURITY", its not that unusual for corp owned buildings to have a mage or two on security. Otherwise anyone capable of astral projection can wander in and out at will. These spirits are probably just one security mages bound spirits. Unfortunately, other than spotting them before they spot you, that assensing roll doesn't get you much info on them.

You get in after the 5th roll, but don't appear to have set off any alarms as yet. The sculpting in here is a hell of a lot more utilitarian. Essentially, you feel like you are in a big white box. There is a program ready to run in the node that will reskin the place to look like a corp boardroom, but its not running at the moment. As you guessed, the security systems for the backroom are based in here. You can listen in to the conversation, but unfortunately, its all in Japanese. You do pick up a few things though:

Kitsunes name is mentioned, by the suited guys you met earlier.
The rough looking fellas they are talking to sound pissed off, and keep making sneering comments.
Although you don't get the full facts of what is going on here, it appears like the suits are offering something to the thugs, and the thugs are poo-pooing it.

Surely as a computer type N-zo would be able to run the convo through a translator? but I guess that needs a roll?

Frank sits quiet for a few minutes and smokes a red apple. Then bursts into a flurry of pan activity.
Frank wrote:Right, plan of attack as I see it. Nik, Chopper and me hit the Barrens address, even if there's nothing there we've eliminated the place from our list.

Nik, if you want to park your snooper there recording stuff it's up to you, but you might need it with us. Leland is over there having a look now and he can give us a good idea of what's happening even in astral mode.
Frank wrote:Al, you stay where you are or drag Leland back to the limo and wait for any news from N-zo and act on that as you see fit. The mob types are your ball game. As I understand it you can bundle Leland into the limo without him suffering any problems astrally. You may need to poke him and check that.
Frank wrote:Jon, if we locate her then it's best you're behind the wheel of your car ready to roll when we bundle her in, your skillset may well be the one thing to get her to the dock intact if we find her. I think if you get your car and stand ready with the guys as they wait on N-zo then you can reinforce them if they need to act on information.
Frank wrote:N-zo, you muttered something about wanting action earlier I think? Well you got your wish. Very likely we'll need electronics expertise at the courier site later, I'm guessing you're better at attacking systems and such on-site.
Frank wrote:Once the Barrens is cleared or we're dead trying then whoever is still walking converges on the location the courier went to and we work our way into there. We'll sort a more complete plan for that later.

Anything you can think would be better? Lets hear it.

Leland zooms back with the bad news.
Well crap. There's a couple spirits guarding the place, and I couldn't get anything off them. I wasn't about to take the two of them on in astral space because I think I'd be at a disadvantage. What's the plan so far guys?

After receiving Leland's message, Frank repeats the plan to him. Then he lights up another red apple, rips open some shitty chocolate bar things he's bought and opens a can of buzz lite! to drink.
Frank wrote:Soon be time to crush, kill an' destroy. Might as well do it fed and watered.
