Cool, cool. Cool cool cool.
In that case I shall nominate Desmond as Dodge dobber, and at the same time I shall start playing my melodic masterpiece (preferably whilst moonwalking out of harm's way).
Perform (not sure if I need to roll this): 14,+5 = 19
I shall be playing Inspire Courage which gives +1 to all attack and damage rolls, and +1 for saving throws against charm and fear.

He's such a naughty bird.
He attacks mirrors
And men of militia
And who taught him those naughty words?
Someone should put him back in his cage
Lock up his seeds until he behaves
He's such a naughty, naughty, naughty bird!
Compared to a parrot he's still more absurd!

You can five-foot-step away from him without incurring an attack of opportunity, so I'll move you a square to the east, or south-east if you prefer?
No need for a perform check, simply having more than 3 ranks in it allows you to perform it. The effect last for five rounds after you finish playing.
So, Forenrond now!

Ideally I'd like to be behind the thing, but looking at the diagram I don't think that's feasible. So I'll just stab it (or at least try to);
Roll(1d20)+1:
3,+1
Total:4
*Sigh*

After the last move, where Des went for Glib, it should be in 8F, with Glib in 9G or 9H.
I don't know if I have this right, but with squares as five feet, diagonals 7.5 ft, you could go:
6F(7.5), 6E(5), 7D(7.5), 8E(7.5) = 27.5ft if your speed is 30 or more
and be behind him?

didnt he move from 6F to 7F to get to glib? which would make 6E behind the monster

Umm, I don't know if you can attack on diagonals. If yes, yes, if no, no. Makes it a bit complicated to work out facing direction if you can.

I just attacked diagonally as did the monster with glib so i guess theres no problem with that, and generally i go off who they last attacked to figure out where they are facing unless stated otherwise.

Urgh, grid references. Gotta get a better system of doing this.

Yes.
FatherJack wrote:Umm, I don't know if you can attack on diagonals
Yes, you can. Your range is 5ft, so you threaten the 8 squares around your character's perimeter.
Bigger monsters or people with reach weapons threaten twice as far.
Forenrond missed though, likely avoiding stabbing his beloved Gnomish friend by an inch or two as he back-peddals while singing his song.
Map, including movement this round (Monster, glib, forenrond).
Thor!

You most definitely hit him with the pointy jabber end of your pointy jabber!
A thick red gout of bubbling, dark red blood comes spilling out of its wound, and it rears back, staring at the wild-man in anger.
Orovan, go get 'im.

Thor stares stonily back at the demon, the fresh claw wound across his chest still evidently raw. His eyes, while creased at the corners remain frozen in place, but his jaw appears to be chewing something invisible. He quickly, almost imperceptibly raises then lowers his head twice. One corner of his mouth rises a fraction.
Yeeeaaah.

Unsurprisingly it's hard enough as it is to hit a creature that flutters and leaps about on leathery wings every time you go to strike it, but you've certainly put a few long-lasting holes in his hide this time. Blood splatters across your armour as droplets come showering off his wings.
The demon hops five foot towards Glibberig (thus avoiding attacks of opportunity) and spins, catching the infamous bard with the pointed stinger on his tail. It catches his strumming hand and does 2 damage (but doesn't require a concentration check, bardic music never does.) Glib, can I get a Fortitude Saving Throw from you?
ROUND 4 - Fight!
Monster (being flanked by Glibberig and Orovan)
Glibberig (strumming his banjo-strings)
Forenrond
Thor (straddling the ladder)
Orovan

Everyone's a critic - even demons.
2,+1 = 3
Whoops
Edit: do I get anything from Dodge?

Dodge feat just gives you a bonus on armour.
He rolled 18 on attack, and I think your armour's 18 (16 +1 from inspire courage, +1 from dodge)?

Very much so - Glib' feels a shot of hot venom pour into his hand and down his wrist.
Glibberig takes 1 Dexterity damage! You can put this in the "Temp Score" column of your character sheet as 14 (instead of 15), which fortunately doesn't change your dexterity modifier (2). Ability points come back at a rate of 1 point per day, or two if you get complete bed-rest.
Gibberig's turn!

Don't suppose I can start playing songs by The Cure?
Hmm, not sure what to do now. I suppose I can stop playing given that the effect lasts for a further 5 rounds. I think moving might be a good idea - I shall try and hop towards H8ers gonna H8.
At the same time I shall cast Ghost Sound at the direction of the ladders - I want to make it sound like there is a group of guards or militia men climbing up (I think I can only make it sound like 4 people). I also get +1 to Illusions cast.
