Right then, I'm still planning to flash so I might as well roll for it now:

Agility (5) + Throwing Weapons (4) = 9

3,4,1,1,3,6,6,4,2 = 2 hits :(

The poor rolls continue.

How close to Frank is the Ork Ghoul?

I'm debating whether to go astral or not because my physical attacks are either touch based or area of effect so I'd either have to get up close or catch Frank in the blast.

I'm six metres away like what it says further up.

I'm thinking the ghoul right in front of me should be my priority, but that big motherfucker made me miss, so I'm going to fuck him up.

hmmm, going astral will take me a whole initiative phase, but I am going last anyways.... I think it would be an OK idea. Right, here's my two options:

a) Powerball to catch the ork and the two other ghouls that have just dropped down

b) Go astral and begin the super fast Death Touching

Any preferences?

Sorry, I was away this weekend.

Righto, Ork Ghoul goes first. He roars and charges at Frank, getting right up close and personal. For the purposes of combat, hes now in hand to hand with Frank.

Frank is up next, then combat goes like this:

All of the ghouls that are going this turn
Chopper
Al
Leland

How far away from being in hand-to-hand range from the ork am I? I am still thinking going astral could be a good idea at this stage.

Frank is between you and the ork ghoul, the other close ghoul is off to one side, but not close enough for *you* to be in combat.

In short, you are a meter or two away from the closest ghoul.

Hmm, having just read the rule book I have noticed that although ghouls are sensitive to sunlight, they are also blind. I get a feeling the flashbang will do fuck all. In which case, depending upon what the ghouls do to Frank, I'm going to be getting up close and personal.

Will I be in range of any of them? From memory I'm further away than Frank, but closer than Al or Leland.

The flash of a flashbang might not do anything, but the bang will probably have some effect. Maybe not enough to make it worth the effort though (and it'll affect most of us too).

The noise would probably do the most damage - but then I'm hoping an axe to the face will do more.

Thats where I think you are too, but to be honest, if you want to go into combat you are close enough for it not to really matter. You would get a charging bonus though.

What I want to do is dodge the initial attack then ram the muzzle of my shotgun in the chest of the ghoul and pull the trigger. But firing weapons in melee combat, unless I'm missing something in the rulebook, is somehow impossible.

I may have to smash it in the face with the butt of the shotty, which would require as much if not more manoeuvring of the gun as pointing the business end would, given I don't even need to pull the trigger I can just thought impulse it to fire.

Joose, can I shoot it again or does it need some of my butt in it's face?

I'm not sure the ghoul is interested in you that way.
