With a boot in his chest and a mighty heave you pull free a small plastic thing with no discernible markings, it looks a bit like a credstick or other small portable electronic gizmo, but there's nothing to give away what it is on it's dull matte black exterior, the only thing spoiling its lines is a small concave scoop, mere millimetres deep on one side.

I'll show it to everyone.
Anyone have a clue as to what this is?

Can I ID it/ access it? You may want to autopilot any rolls, as I'm in centre parcs and the wireless hotspots are randomly placed and mere inches wide.

Ingress can indeed ID it. It's a specialised tracking system that uses hard to track micro burst transmissions to home in on subdermal locators. It also returns an AR message about the condition of it's implantee, it gives the life signs of the co-pilot, or rather the lack of.

The results for Aysun back up that she's been moved in the direction of the monsters but it's having trouble with her bio-signs. They're standard readouts so Smith can interpret them with medical knowledge.

It also carries a comcode asking for it to be contacted should the device not be in the ownership of those it tracks. A logic roll will show if it matches any comcode you guys have run across before, a logic roll from one person might not match it up though.

Editz - I would imagine your intent is to start trailing the beasts in some fashion and as its quite a long run (as per usual) I will point out transport is available that will speed pursuit.

Medicine (4) + Logic (8)
1,5,1,3,2,6,3,2,2,1,2,1 = 2 hits, how disappointing

And for the other Logic thing:

1,4,2,6,4,5,6,2 = 3 hits

Hernandez has seen the comcode before, its his job contact in Seattle.

Smith's cursory look at the readout shows some random fibrillations and adrenaline spikes in line with an injured person captured and dragged away by weird beasts.

Shall we commence following the bird, or do we have to wait? I think we should drop off the sliced up creature off at the hospital/infirmary thing in town (for further analysis) and get on with the tracking.

I think we should drop off the monsterbaby and get some transport to follow Aysun.

Sounds good to me. I'll have the drones gather back to the tower, and have it follow us in whatever transport we end up in.

Would it not be a good idea to try and radio the settlement and get them to bring transport and take back the beast? I don't particularly fancy having to drag/carry it all the way back.
