Just bought Mulholland Drive and Requiem for a Dream (not Lynch I know) - thats a couple of easy-viewing films for a romantic night in!

Even by Lynch's standard its an odd one.

It's a very good film but horrible. Especially what happens to the gorgeous Connelly. Check out the trailer for the Director's new film, The Fountain.

The music by the Kronos Quartet in the montage bit at the end is quite haunting, and I oddly heard it in a restaurant recently. When you associate it with a horrible climax to a horrible film, its disturbing to hear it when you're trying to enjoy a curry!

However, it is a brilliant film as well as a horrible one. It just doesn't pull any punches.

I'll check out the trailer when I get home.

a personal favourite, and fairly easy.
