by The Shutting Downs
Phase 1 (When Eraser sees it), he'll smack it one in the back;

Roll(2d10)+12:
2,2,+12
Total:16 - so glad I took 10 in Chainaxe, Grimmie, you'r luck is clearly contageous.

10 Damage

Phase 2, swing again;

Roll(2d10)+12:
6,3,+12
Total:21

Better, 11 damage.

Ouchie. The Doglie stops mid reach for the steps.

Phase 3.

Phases too fast! Too fast!

I just realised I never actually added my rifle skill to my last roll.
It should have been 24 total, not 14!

Phase 2, I'm gonna shoot its chest up. Blat blat!

Rifle
8,5 +10 +3 = 26

Whoops, I was away when the action started. I'll just Blast him:

2d10 + 8, + 2 (size)

9,6,+10 = 25

1. What rank Blast? (or what damage)
2. Are you using your Flintlock?

Good points!

Arm DMG 3, DMG 10, PEN 8

I'm using the Rank 7 Blast (the one that's not a bomb). I am using a Flintlock.

What phase was that? Remember you have to bring to bear, aim etc with a Flintlock.

Hrm, not sure t be honest. If we're on 3 now, is it possible that I can have been aiming on 1? That's what I would have done, but I was gaying it up in London watching musicals.

You can bring to bear on 1.

laying more smackdown on 3

Roll(2d10)+12:
6,8,+12
Total:26

16 damage...

I know they said 'take one alive', we have 2 more tries right?

I'm not entirely sure how we're gonna do that. I do want the money though.

Well whatever Dirk does is academic. Or whatever Eraser does. Either way, whoever hits it first on 3 kills it. It lunges for the steps but falls short, thrashing around with apparently no control over its body. Then it expires.

I'll go over and have a look at it to see if anyone else has already been in a scrap with it.

Detect:

6,8,+8 = 22

Forensics:

1,3,+6 = 10 :(

It looks a bit bruised and battered, not just from the wounds inflicted by you guys. What or who caused them you can't tell.

Deject, since we're back into normal time you resume stealthing towards the elevator. If you'd like to make a climb roll you can attempt to make your way across the tops of the machines and the cable conduits.

Sounds good.

Climb (3): 6, 8 + 3 = 17

Okay, creeping through the rafters above the machinery you get an idea of the production process. Raw materials (vat-grown meat) are dumped from keg-sized cardboard cannisters into a hopper where it's mixed with measured amounts of various other liquids and powders from smaller containers and vats. It's variously kneaded and mixed, forced into sealed cubic plastic wrappers and heat treated. The process makes you not want to eat it. At the far end, where the freight elevator is, the cubes are spilling out onto a pallette. There are two Low-Waves there feasting on the mushed up mess of stormer-spam, plastic, and the remains of several humans.
