You're just assuming that I'm automatically going to put negative modifiers on your roll. Well I did, but it's not automatic...
Anyway, Grimmie spots it. The other two elevators are on floor 249. They weren't before, when you got in yours.

Grimmie looks up and then shakes his head, motioning for people to take cover.

I'll bring my rifle out and find somewhere to hide behind temporarily while we work out who's on scouting duty for this floor. I'll try and point out cover locations for the rest of the squad, too.

Is the floor layout the same as before? And can I get relatively safely to the side of the an elevator which is on the other side relative to the door? Finally, how are we laid out - are the elevators which just arrived on the floor two opposite ones or two adjacent ones?

It's the CEO's office. The four elevators are still at opposite points, and IIRC the two you're interested in are diagonally opposite each other. The office occupies the whole centre of the floor, with glass walls forming a corridor along the outside that the elevators open into. The glass doesn't look reinforced or anything.

Kt'rr, king of subtlety, is going to check one of the lifts for baddies.
Auto-support with the Warbastard, through the glass, at whichever lift Brainrot is further from:
a/s 10, RoF is 5, my roll is...not wonderful: 5,2. Still, that's enough for all 5 rounds to hit.

Indeed. Shall we go to bullet time? Those lifts need a chance.
1. Kt'rr catches everyone by surprise by opening up full auto into one of the lifts. Glass goes everywhere and the lift doors sprout multiple holes.
Two?

I will go sneaky-time and go all snipery when the doors open. Still using HEAP and single fire.
Sneak (4): 8, 7 + 4 = 19
Hide (4) + Active Camo (2): 2, 8 + 6 = 16

I feign shock and bring to bear at the other one.

Kt'rr will wait to see if there is any reaction from the lift.

So once again I'm 56.568542494923801952067548968388m away from the elevators. Sprint tiem, I'll charge the one that Kt'rr shot at.

I will wait and watch the other elevator not being shot up and see if anything comes out.

I'll wait till the melée dudes have done their stuff.
Maybe someone ought to call up the stairs to the board room.

Calling people ain't our job.

If you guys think you have these elevators handled then I'll continue on moving up.

Four? Or should we come out of bullet time?

That would suggest we missed something, but I don't know what.
I'll check my motion scanner.

I'm not suggesting anything, just that you seem to be waiting for something to come out of the elevators. Motion tracker doesn't show anything.
