GOD DAMMIT! I knew it would either be sex or money!

What did we miss? Was there one bit of evidence that would have tied her to Briony's fella?

So close, so close.

Computers. She'd been cyber-stalking him for a while. It's probably a little much for Deject's skills, but you could have tipped off Cloak to look there.

This was something of an open BPN - I didn't have much of a plan, only a scenario to uncover. I was planning on using it to get people back into SLA after a break and lead into one of several plotlines. As it happens the situation dictated that I brought a BPN forward I was going to run about four ahead of now.

I need to read back over this now to work out why I initially thought Sumner might be dodgy.

Also, deej, what SCL are you on now? I've not kept track, but I know I'll be on the same as you.

I also a fair bit of XP to spend now.

Woo!

I am now on SCL 8A.4. Hot damn, it won't be long before I'm a certified badass. I'm also on 8 XP to spend. I'm not sure what I want to do with it just yet. It's a shame new skills are so expensive.

Yay!

I have absolutely no clue what just happened. I tried to follow it, but there was some confusion as to who was where and what they were doing. Probably just me though :?

I was waiting for something Eraser could torture or hit.

Although a rather dodgy skill may have helped out in the end...

This is what happened from my perspective:

I was following Briony, then we decided I should switch and go watch Sumner, then it was later decided that I should go snoop in Sumner's office (Dirk had been snooping earlier, but I'm the one with any knowledge of using computers), so Grimmie relieved me from staking out Sumner's apartment. I didn't find much on Sumner's computers or anything so I went back to Briony's apartment just in case something was going on with her. Meanwhile, Grimmie hears a great commotion coming from Sumner's apartment and busts in to find the Sumner dead, cut up by a Doobrie toy.

Eraser and K'Tr were never going to have a huge amount to do this time unfortunately. There were some things that could have got fighty - the Johannas guys in the bar were a potential offshoot lead, as was the Darknight recruiter Grimmie didn't discover. I'm content to have the occasional BPN where there's no combat though. Think of this one as a sort of quest hub.

It's not a problem though, Its the same with any game, there will be some people left out 'cos thier skill set is wrong.

Thats the way the game goes.

Glad you see it that way. I'd rather have occasional flat spots for people than crowbar in a combat just for the sake of it. Things are kind of what you make of them anyway in beardy games.

It's not a big deal, there was no BPNs attached as yet. They were just handles I could have used to send the squad off on something more interesting if they were picked up.
