It's not hard to get closer, there's plenty of cover, nobody is looking for you, and you're a sneaky kitty. You can grab one if you like.

Yes, I think I shall. After grabbing a piece of gear, I'll exit the workshop area and see what other things I can find.

Scuttling across the corridor from the way you came in you find yourself in a room full of machinery parts, industrial cutters, drills and presses. Nothing interesting. However, venturing further down the corridor you slip into a room full of small plastic crates. Some are scuffed and re-used, but most are shiny and new. They all have little stickers on them with the explosives symbol.

Are they loose or are they organized? I'd like to take one, but I'd like to make it inconspicuous. If they're loose, I'll just grab one. If they're organized, I'd like to take one out of a lower tray or whatever if possible.

They're loose, but there are that many of them it'd probably take someone ages to notice either way.

Yeah I'll grab one and get out. I think I should get these samples to Risikko so that we can verify or rule out Tek Trex involvement with these guys. Other than that, I'm not sure what else we can do here with these guys.

The next floor up has the elevator on it. You can climb around it and in through the top if you like, but there are also convenient air ducts on this level that lead from the elevator shaft if you'd prefer. You can hear muffled gunfire.

I'm being stealthy, why not crawl around in air ducts?

Hell, that's why architects put them in. The ducts seem to follow the line of the central square corridor, as with the other levels, with smaller ducts branching off. A human couldn't fit down one of these branches, but unarmoured you might be able to wriggle though. Through the vents you pass you see that this level is cleaner again, although there still looks to be some work done here. Passing by the east side of the floor you hear the gunfire closer. It's steady and paced, like a firing range.

If it's possible to get out and get back in to my armor while still in the vent I'll try one of the offshoot vents. Otherwise I'll try the next floor for now.
