Well the crux of it is that they haven't noticed you yet, but if you all stay in this doorway they will do. Are you staying there or backing off?

I say we all back off bar deject, who stays *close* to the door and pokes his little camera-stick around to see whats going on.

Yeah, me too. Even though I love shooting things, 50 targets is a little too much.
Any idea how we can keep an eye on guy-with-smile without alerting anyone?

Deject's not here, man. He's jaunted off to the surface on his own to make a phone call.

Yeah I am pretty close to making contact I think.

Guys, are you receiving? I've located Dour, or rather he has found me, and I'm on my way back.

I'll shuffle back and check for places that we wont be found.

Yep, you do so. Deject and Dour arrive after a few minutes. Dour is carrying his Vaph, and even those unfamiliar with the Ebb get the impression that his Gore Cannon, perched on his shoulder, is pissed off about it. You all get a feeling of repressed violence, like you did in his office, and the ghost of the taste of blood. Dirk in particular feels uncomfortable, as the depleted uranium rounds in the Vaph feel like they're tugging at his Flux like a hook in his skin.
Dour wrote:Good evening, Five Punk. I hope you are enjoying Lower Downtown. What is the situation with our smiley friend? Mr Gently, have you seen him yet?

Grimmie stares wide eyed back at the Necanthrope and then turns about towards the corridor, pointing down it.
Grimmie wrote:Dude's sitting on his lonesome in the middle of a very agitated crowd. Seems to be content just.. Sitting.
I'll try and draw a map for him on one of my armour plates with my facepaint pens.

Ahem

As Grimmie has pointed out, our smiling friend is over yonder. Erm, do you have a preferred plan of action? I can't help but notice you've got UD rounds loaded there...

Dour wrote:The weapon. Yes. I'm not sure what compelled me to bring it. I don't think I'll use it. Maybe I wanted to destroy it.
Anyway. Our prey. As I explained to your colleague, I think that one of my kind may be behind this. One who controls others. He has cast himself from the city and dwells in the wastes, but he still roams here. I have heard of this before, and I think we have caught him in the act. If we can destroy his host here and prevent him from finding another, we can horse him to return personally and confront him.

Grimmie gives a little nod.
Grimmie wrote:Well, I can probably line up a shot and pick his face off his head in a single shot - but there's a huge crowd mingling around, not sure I'll be able to line up a shot.

Any ideas?

Anyone want to formulate a plan? Dour has one, but you're probably better off thinking of your own. You probably have more concern for your own safety than he does.

Hmm, we're probably best trying to lure Smiler out - but I've got no idea how to do that without drawing attention to ourselves. We could try and get one of captives to fetch him. Get him to bring our chap into the tunnel, and threaten him that if he alerts anyone else we kill them all (I'm sure Dour's presence will convince him that is possible).

Dirk to captive wrote:Listen, we're only interested in that friend of yours who is smiling strangely. Thing is, he's not your friend anymore - he's been possessed by something and is now a danger to you all. If you lead him out into this tunnel - alone - then we'll leave you in peace. If not, then I can do nothing to stop my colleague over there laying waste to the entire complex. And trust me, Necanthropes can that.

If we need to isolate him, surely drawing him out here is just going to isolate him...with us. That seems like a not good idea.
