Well the crux of it is that they haven't noticed you yet, but if you all stay in this doorway they will do. Are you staying there or backing off?
Guys, are you receiving? I've located Dour, or rather he has found me, and I'm on my way back.
I'll shuffle back and check for places that we wont be found.Grimmie wrote:Uh, you nearby then? Better get moving, something's spooked these guys and they're on the alert.
Dour wrote:Good evening, Five Punk. I hope you are enjoying Lower Downtown. What is the situation with our smiley friend? Mr Gently, have you seen him yet?
I'll try and draw a map for him on one of my armour plates with my facepaint pens.Grimmie wrote:Dude's sitting on his lonesome in the middle of a very agitated crowd. Seems to be content just.. Sitting.
Grimmie wrote:Juuuust.. There.
Dirk wrote:Ah, h-hello Mr. Dour - l-lovely of you to join us.
Ahem
As Grimmie has pointed out, our smiling friend is over yonder. Erm, do you have a preferred plan of action? I can't help but notice you've got UD rounds loaded there...
Dour wrote:The weapon. Yes. I'm not sure what compelled me to bring it. I don't think I'll use it. Maybe I wanted to destroy it.
Anyway. Our prey. As I explained to your colleague, I think that one of my kind may be behind this. One who controls others. He has cast himself from the city and dwells in the wastes, but he still roams here. I have heard of this before, and I think we have caught him in the act. If we can destroy his host here and prevent him from finding another, we can horse him to return personally and confront him.
Grimmie wrote:Well, I can probably line up a shot and pick his face off his head in a single shot - but there's a huge crowd mingling around, not sure I'll be able to line up a shot.
Any ideas?
Dour wrote:He will pass to another target if his host is destroyed. Simply killing him will not be sufficient. He must be isolated.
Persuasion:Dirk to captive wrote:Listen, we're only interested in that friend of yours who is smiling strangely. Thing is, he's not your friend anymore - he's been possessed by something and is now a danger to you all. If you lead him out into this tunnel - alone - then we'll leave you in peace. If not, then I can do nothing to stop my colleague over there laying waste to the entire complex. And trust me, Necanthropes can that.
He points at his now unconscious compatriot.Subterranean wrote:I'll do that.
Subterranean wrote:He's hurt. Help him, I get your Smiler, you leave.
Kt'rr wrote:Isolated...how far from others do we need him to be for this to be effective?
Dour wrote:Line of sight. Touch. I am unsure. I think he would not or could not take me. But you are, I expect, less protected. Do not leave yourselves in a position where you are his only option for escape.
