yea, think im gonna stick with the BS for some time. Get the over all skills worked up with it, and Im sure it'll be fun. As of now its a pretty beefy ship, but just love reaching out and smacking people.

I need to save the monies up for the cap skills before I can do anything, but I am also beefing up my Cruiser skills with a view to flying HACs and/or Command Ships (and I also want an excuse to break 8 figures in Spaceship Command SP  )

There are currently no plans to subsidise further capital ship and capital ships skill purchases with corp funds. Interesting discussion though.

Sadly, us mods can't do that to people. That's an admin only thingie :(

Going off topic a bit, Miro did raise a slightly interesting point. 5punks wallet is full to the value of nearly 3 billion (I think). Paying off marilyn eats some of that, but that still leaves a hell of alot of isk just sitting there doing nothing. Once this wars over (I'm not counting the days, but one way or the other, it's not going to last much longer in C3-) perhaps we should investigate various means to get this isk working for us.

Thank you Hulk. I wasn't gonna mention it again until someone else showed interest as well..

Edit:
*And Fea posts regarding what i'm typing here, as i'm typing it.. I'll still leave it up :p*
Friz, i've always looked at our corp as a family with You and Fea as Mom and Dad. (Sorry Fea *ducks*) As Dad, you say 'yes' or 'no' and that's pretty much that, the final word as you will. As 'us kids' are growing up however i'd love to be included in more of the reasoning behind the decisions.

I know i'm not the most expierenced, or longest employed with the corp, or what have you but i'm very suprised everyone just rolls with everything. Don't get me wrong, our leadership does an awesome job, but I ask questions because I am genuinelly (sp) interested in how things work and how I can do my part to make things better. When decisions are made I would love to know the thought process behind them to, if nothing else, educate myself on things. In the end I hope I can take full part in the making of these decisions, but that might be a lofty goal as there can only be so many 'chiefs' and the rest have to be indians.

In summary:

The leadership rocks. My curious nature and desire to help however, refuses to be sated by 'This is the way it is' without more detail.

And we do our best to include as much of the corp in the decision making process as possible without it becoming a chinese parliament...hence the regular-ish votes and discussions on the direction the corp is taking. I was planning to expound on my one liner above but Fea has summed it up pretty neatly already. Note however that there are "currently no plans", which is distinctly different from "no plans at all. Evah!" With the current situation as it is it would not be expedient to invest in capital ship purchases for the corp juncture.

On Hulk's point ref the corp savings, this is a discussion topic still pending. I was going to put it up for consideration last week but I felt that it would divert attention from the main effort which currently lies in recovering our primary assets from 0.0 and concluding the war in Tenerifis, whichever way that might turn out. Once things are a little more settled we can look at investment opportunities...and yes, that could even include cap ship purchase if we decide it will be profitable.
