That's probably true. It seems like they're letting you do whatever the hell you want, regardless if it is a good idea or not. Similar to the first come/first serve loot system.

Don't ever play this co-op with Deject, remember titan quest! He steals everything!

Is there anyone wanting to go for the second 4 pack in a last minute dealio? I've done a 4 pack but if you're caving in and buying might as well get the game for £22 instead of full price!

I might be tempted if there are enough people interested.

Although I've not experimented with it yet, there's an option "Matchmaking" on the title screen. From what I can gather, this'll find a game roughly around your skill level for you to jump into.
Pretty sure I saw it earlier, but now it appears to have disappeared - might be owing to Steam being in offline mode.

How much is it for the four pack? I don't particularly want it but if it's cheap, why not?

It's £22.50 each with the pack costing £89.99.
I reckon you could tempt KV into buying it, also I think Snowdyz is looking for a copy too.

If you can't find a fourth one, sign me up.

I've got 2 people from work interested, Snowdyz is one and the other I can vouch for in terms of getting paid, so if there's 2 people who want to jump in then the party can get started.

Nnnng, tempted, but I'm also tempted to wait for the inevitable GOTY edition and get all the DLCs as part of that.

I've had my wallet out three times but keep coming back to that. Plus the sales. If I was more a co-op guy I'd go for it though.

You can also buy a season pass for a twenty note that gives you all future dlc at no extra cost.

But no doubt a goty will appear next year some time after they're all released.

Co-op partners beware: I will be using this gun exclusively if I ever get it.

I have a similar gun (gotten from a quest) though the voice is not as annoying. You get it by putting the murderous AI core into a gun because it's all like "I just want to help you kill" so it says a bunch of stuff when you use it, lol.

I've played the starting couple of levels about 5 times now, not even bored of them. It totally is a carrot thing, as long as shiny phat lewt keeps falling out of dead stuff, piles of poop and chests I'm happy.

How is it in single player? Heard people say they couldn't play BL1 unless in co-op because otherwise it was dull.
If I picked this up in the sale it would probably just be for a one time play through to experience the main story and perhaps a few side missions. Is it worth it for that (in terms of the experience and time rather than the monetary cost)?

I couldn't get on with the first game, but I don't remember exactly why. I only played single-player and I think I found it lonely, not even many NPCs. This one however is fine in single-player. I jumped in Pete's game earlier and that was even better.
My only complaint would be that it can be awkward to pick things up, you have to be so deliberate and precise.
