Wait, what? The blizzard DOTA is all blizzard characters? Suddenly im slightly more interested. I doubt it will have a lot of long term pull, but SC vs WC seems fun.

I've been playing this at least once a day and I had my first real dick head today. The usual shit you get with these penises (penisses?, Peni?) "OMG Warwick NOOB" "LOL L2P" "Stop dying retard" which was going to get him at least one report from me, given that I was in a "beginner" PvE match and I was getting raped by a Soraka and Ashe combo in top lane. But it was gratifying to see the rest of the players reaction, which was basically call him a cupcake and refuse to offer any support to him or his lane (until he was dead and we mopped up)
This behaviour makes me like this game even more and goes a little way to restoring my faith in the general internet going public.

I've had a couple of people like that now, and had very similar responses from the rest of the players. The first one kept calling everyone noob, and shouting stuff about how our team was bad, mixed in with some terminology that was either super obscure or made up. Everyone took it in turns to tell him to be quiet.

The second one accused everyone of stealing his kills. Which would have been bad if he hadn't started the game by stealing someone's kill, admitting to it when it was pointed out, and saying "maybe you shouldn't play so shit XD". You can imagine what our response was when he started complaining.

Any game on the interwebs is going to get the occasional shouty child. Like you, the way LoL tends to deal with them makes me feel a little more warm and fuzzy.

Glad to hear that. I've not really encountered any tossbags myself either. I rather enjoy the game when I can find the time to play it.
