To be honest I'm more concerned with the GFX card for now. Is 62C a normal temperature for idling? Just turned my PC on a few mins ago and thats what its at now, having only done a bit of browsing. CS:S takes it up to the mid 90s and Fear and Test Drive Unlimited both hit 115Cish and go all spacky.

that is too hot.
normal CPUs start to burn at about 90 or so. GPUs tend to run a bit warmer, but they shouldnt get that high.
If it goes spacky then of course thats a bad sign :roll:

Yeah, when certain textures start flickering green in the game (Always bright green, in either game) then I figure that somethings wrong and close it.

So if 62-64C at idle is too hot, what can I do about it? As far as I'm aware nothing has changed on the insides. :?

ePenis surgery now complete, still reinstalling. Steam + 1Mb internets = FAIL
