Okay, I've chosen a module for the 'new' D&D players to try out.
Depending on who turns up I can fiddle what's in it.
Out of the people playing Dungeon Siege/Green Shell Suit, who's coming?

A definite no.

A possible yes.

Now changed to a likely yes. Mrs Pants is happy enough to go see her mum in Notts for the weekend, which isn't too far away.

Suppose I should write something. People want to play SLA presumably?

SLA or Paranoia.

I was wondering about Paranoia. It's definately one better run across a table rather than on a forum, especially when a bit drunk. I'd have to bone up on it again.

Hurrah!
On that note, can people who are definitely coming sign up on the 5cheduler so I know numbers? Ta!
If you haven't already, of course.

I have. I'm also currently writing a doozie of an exhibition game for SLA which will tie into the main campaign. Quick question to the players; would you rather generate a character in advance and risk getting a spoiler on the adventure, or play a pre-gen team made by me and allocated to or chosen by the players?

I think I trust you enough to build a persona for me.

I'll just turn up, sit down and roll the dice in whatever we play.
I'm also going into the centre for a trip to irish as it's been a few years.

Right, sorted with Mrs Pants - in fact she'l be upset if I don't come now. Were I to book one of the days off would friday or monday be better? I'm gunning for friday at the moment.

I would say probably Friday.

There are a group of people who are not coming on the Friday, so I dunno.

Well I need to book the leave soon. I can't afford the leave to take friday and monday off, and it would be nice to arrive early friday and not miss the beginning. However, leaving early when everyone else is mid-game will be sad and I won't be able to stay up drinking all night on saturday.

I will only be able to set off Friday evening.
