Oh and whatever retardation they have in place to prevent modded controllers/autofire/mouse wheel scroll shooting is starting to do my head in. Can't use the M14 or FAL or Pistols because I apparently click way too fast and the game decides my gun shouldn't shoot for a little while when I use them.

I've never had a problem with clicking speed. :?

Either you're a lot faster than me (totally possible, my hands are not the dexterous) or it's bugging out for you. I have had issues with my mouse being unresponsive, like not turning left/right properly and not bringing up the sights when I right click. I'm not sure it's my mouse because it seems like the whole game is kinda messing up, but I need to properly test it out too.

New patch out, containing CPU optimisations and some tweaks to the server browser. Let's see if it fixes shit all.

Still stuttering.

More annoyingly, blops seems to have forgot I got a shitload of points yesterday, and despite the fact that I should've been level 18, it decided I was better off at level 17. Cunts.

Also yes, patch fixes fuck all.

My game is running very well and I'm liking it. Although I'm fairly certain I wouldn't be playing it for too long if there's wasn't all this progression: Collect 15 n00b skulls. At least I'm grinding in a solid, satisfying shooter.

My game is working fine, except for the occasional weapon lockup. I'm level 45 and never had level rollbacks ever.

The Enfield is my weapon of choice at the moment, as it does have one thing over the initial M16, more bullet spray. Essential for my play style and ability. Plus I can't afford anything better at the moment.

If you like spraying, try Famas, it's really great at that, and it does some damage. Add a steady aim perk and it's a killer.

While we're at perks, what happened to the good old choice of perks? I mean there's like 5 perks per category and only 2-3 of them is remotely useful.

That's what I did at first too, but like Bali says the famas is better. But the M16 is still my favourite rifle so far.

I can agree with that, since it's a 3-round burster, which is generally awesome. If you like a burster, though, get to the last classified weapon - G11 - it's like M16 but doubleplusawesome.

People don't seem to interested in reviving me, despite being right next to me and no obvious enemies around. Is it not pro to do reviving?

I have unlocked second chance pro.

Whenever I see a REVIVE arrow I always stop everything I'm doing and dive at the guy to pick him back up. The last time I did that I got him up and then a crossbow bolt hit him square in the chest, so I had to dive away again as he exploded.

I get revived pretty often, with the following results on average:
- 1 out of 10 times nothing happens
- 1 out of 10 times I save both of our asses while still on the ground as we're being ambushed
- 1 out of 10 times we both get sniped by the same camper that downed me in the first place
- 2 out of 10 times we get ambushed after revive and both of us survives
- 2 out of 10 times someone blitzes in and only one of us survives
- 3 out of 10 times we're utterly overwhelmed by a zerg of lightweight marathon smgs, random semtexes or a rain of explosive crossbow bolts

And that's why reviving is usually a bad idea.

Are you leaving the server before the After Action Report? If so, you lose everything that you gained during the game and it counts as a loss. I've been burned by that before.

Not that I can remember, but it could've been that.
Also, I managed to make it work more or less by using a tool which allowed me to turn certain options such as bloom off without having to open any game files. Setting the priority for blops to high and the priority for steam to low seemed to have helped as well, as did turning off all programs running in the background.

Ah, right, I forgot to mention I did high-prioritize BLOPS. Definitely helps.

I think I've encountered this problem. The gun refuses to fire for a second. I'm sort of flattered if the system thinks I'm cheating.

It does it to automatic weapons if you tap fire too fast, too.
