They seem to have noticed you, the taller one points you out to the shorter one. He looks to be waiting for you to approach.

Ooh, just realised something
fairly important I might have missed during helping character creation.
You add your Strength modifier to damage rolls for melee and thrown weapons (not bow weapons). Details on page 134.
If for instance, your strength ability modifier is +2, and your melee weapon does 1d6 damage, the damage box for your weapon should read 1d6+2.
Similarly, if your ability modifier is -1, it'll be 1d6-1. A damage roll always lands at least 1 damage.

Glibberig wrote:Cured? I'm cured! Oh happy days. You wily wizard you - I didn't know you had such powerful healing spells.
Glibberig does a couple of cartwheels round the other two.
He then shouts to the strangers
Glibberig wrote:Ahoy! Yahoo!
I have a question for you.
I don't mean to offend
But are you foe or are you friend?

The taller one seems to be waving you over.
Man wrote:Howdy, strangers. You don't look like no orcs and we won't attack if you don't. C'mon over here.

Unless you're purposely ignoring your Gnome friend, yeah you've been alerted as to the people.. Go say hi? Somebody, please?

It's.. A Human Ranger, a Gnome Druid.. And a Camel!
Most of you won't have seen a camel in the flesh before, but you'll know what one is.

Hello strangers. Before you ask, yet it is me - the famous Bard himself. Please don't get too excited.

The taller man steps forward, his eyes hooded. He wears a wide-brimmed hat, has a bow slung across his back and two nasty-looking blades at his waist. His tanned skin gives him a weathered, aged look, but as he raises his head his brown eyes look bright and quick.
Man wrote:Hey there, thought y'all were never comin' over. Name's Thor. Thor Yngve. I'm a woodsman round these parts.
He glances at his gnome companion, expectantly.

Doesn't anyone here have a name I can pronounce?

Feel free to fill in details on your characters (even pronunciations!) on the Wiki.
I've not put anyone's back story up there in case you wanted to keep it a secret, but do embellish the descriptions if you want to share.

Thor wrote:I mos' cert'nly have, and it's why I'm here.
I live out in the forest over yonder and don't come around these parts too often, but the trees are way thinner than they ever were and they did't fall down all of themselves.
Added to that, I've seen some damn foul types about, goblins and orcs. Something wrong is happening and it's happening on my doorstep.
So, I was out fixing to put a stop to it 'fore there aint no forest left, when I met this guy here. He talks a bit fancy, but we worked out that he don't like it none either.
He looks at Glibberig
Thor wrote:Pleas'd to meet you, Mr Famous-Bard. I'm afraid I aint heard of ya, but then I live out in the forest and don't have much cause to mingle wi' fancy folks. Maybe my friend here knows of you?
