I managed to get a quick go last night using this method. You do get kind of a server browser as well, a slide-out button on the right hand side.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/batt ... crash.html
What I saw I liked a lot.

Having done more playing, there doesn't appear to be a huge amount wrong with the game.
Infantry combat is a bit faster than beef was, which is good, because it was crap in beef mostly.
Classes are all pretty balanced, upgrade weapons don't give a huge advantage.
Snipers don't really lose out from the no prone thing, you just have to hide better, would be nice if you could delay the action like you could in BEEF to see the shot fall easier.
All the other classes work pretty well, it's extremely easy to rack up points as the engineer/AT guy, Medic/Support gunner can cause a great deal of damage.
It's by no means perfect, but it's not terribly consoley really.
I'd like prone, a lot, and crouch toggle.
Other problems appear to be mostly server side, just needs some optimisation, and GSPs need to get the level of servers just right.

Also - Prone/crouch toggle One or the other if you can't do both please dice. I'm getting the claw sommat chronic trying to keep the buttons pressed.
Mind you I have just put a few hours in.
If they provide PC types with a b3ef that has blowy uppy everything, nice class balance like this (possibly make the sniping a bit harder, its easy) but customisable controls and multi-gpu/core support I would happily play the fuck out of it.
