Phoebe wrote:That too... where do you want to start though? If we are going to the apartment of a victim, prolly best to go to the most recent killing.
Thought the places had been investigated already but yeah you are probably right..
Grimmie shrugs and leads on to the home of the first killing.
Grimmie wrote:Dunno, don't suppose they're very rapid-response down here, so we'd probably hear about it a few days later.
Wouldn't hurt though, I suppose. Someone wanna call in?
The home of the first victim probably looks similar to how it did when the Shivers left it. Leading off an old manufacturing floor that has been crudely partitioned by swollen and entirely inadequate prefab concrete walls bearing stencilled logos of the Dep of Housing, the rotting plastic door appears to have been kicked to pieces. Inside is the soggy remains of a crude dwelling, some brown stains on the bed marking what was probably the exact location of the body. It looks like this might have once been an office, and so a premium location in Lower Downtown, but the thin interior roofing has been stripped entirely and the water leaking in through the high, rigging clogged ceiling of the facility has ruined anything that wasn't stolen. The more observant among you occassionally catch sight of red-rimmed eyes peering from cracks in doors and behind ragged curtains.
Dirk wrote:Well I'm going to head over to the Shiver station. I want to speak to the guys that found the bodies and I want to do some forensic work of my own on the corpses. Anyone want to accompany me?
Grimmie peers wide-eyed into the darkness and the eyes blinking back at him.
Grimmie wrote:Don't you think you could do a little of your detective work here for a second?
I didn't traipse down here for the good of my own health, Dirk.
I'll tug my IR goggles down and take a better look.
Phoebe wrote:Sounds like this guy may have been a squatter in here.. gonna have a look around see if I see anything salvageable to investigate. Oh and I don't like this whole being watched thing... Grim, can you tell who the hell or what hell THEY are?
Phoebe wanders around the room a bit looking for anything suspicious.
Oh and by the way, the last one to say "not it" has to go talk to those dudes watchin us! ..NOT IT!
what? That is crazy, I have been in Old San Juan for since last Thursday. Where were you at?
In any case, AUTOPILOT: OFF. Any preference on where I should be or what I should be doing? If not I'll be at the 1st victim's place helping with the spotting of clues. I'll check both UV and IR as well to see what is up.
