Again, very minor, but the screen after submitting currently says "Thankyou" with no space.

More significantly, will the things on the table be sorted alphabetically? Its currently just in the order in which they were uploaded, but could they be sorted by category and then a-z by description? Would make general browsing easier in my opinion.

Also, a confirmation screen before sending the email about something thats been clicked on might be good.

I will look into this. At the same time, i plan to have a multiple page thing because atm it only shows the latest 30 results.

Good so far, logging in and searching work well. Could use a less cumbersome method to submit multiple offers, but it's fine for one or a few.

I've used the link thing to point to an info page, as I would only seed actual torrents on request, and on a different, dedicated machine, plus like Ty said the ability to edit or delete entries when we fuck them up.

http://5punk.robeastwood.co.uk :ninja: :ninja: edits

Updates:
You can now easily upload massive lists in one go
You can delete your own items
Get confirmations before loosing off emails
Wanted board has categories & info links
Offered board doesnt have links anymore. (too slow and incompatable/hassle with uploader thing)
Oh, and lines on the page so you can read it easier.

still to do:
sort out a numbered page system.
alphabetise? (there are gonna be lots of things. Isnt using the search a better idea?)

Had an ERROR message when trying to delete one I'd posted twice:

Code: Select all

Warning: mysql_result(): Unable to jump to row 0 on MySQL result index 4 in /home/sites/robeastwood.co.uk/public_html/5punk/index.php on line 725
Argh! you do not appear to have permission!

Thats weird. It checks to make sure that you were the one that posted the item before it deletes it. Obv somehow checking you own it is causing issues, but i cant replicate the problem. Can you jump on xfire/msn and run through it with me?

I've fixed the issue that was causing that error when some things were being deleted.

Also,

Done! All results are now organised by category alphabetically.
Also, for ease of browsing, when you felcher the results with Everybody and All categories, it will now list every item in the database.

Well I think it's excellent. Still doesn't have a means of discussing stuff that maybe needs a little more explanation, like my obscure offerings, but very good. :likesitall:

I'll get on it a bit today, and tomorrow. Coding with a hangover may not be a good idea tho ;)

also it would be nice to be able to leave comments on the torrent of 5punk website for each torrent. i can foresee it getting abused to buggery, but there are a few legitimate uses for it
