FFS, surely they can't do anything about this if Microsoft themselves were giving out multiple copies of the same keys?

Well

I got the Dual Boot thingy sorted and I now write to you from Windows 7.

However, I no longer have Fista. I now have two Windows 7 options. One that still has the error mentioned in the above post and this nice shiney one which I likes very much.

I must have clicked the wrong button and it's 'upgraded' my Fista to W7, so I it looks like i'll be doing a fresh install in 30 days.

First impressions, "Works a treat"

Apparently Microsoft have lifted the ammount of people who could download and I wouldn't be suprised with those keys would let you use it till August, or whenever it is the beta is supposed to end.

Anyone managed to resize their partition? I want to install win 7 on its own partition so that it won't be so horribly slow like in the virtual machine but I can't resize my XP partition.

The Gparted boot disc they recommend in that article just fails when I try to shrink.

I've not tried from xp in a while, but I suggest lots of defragging so all your files are at the start of the drive.

Also, if you can, take a disk image before you start, just in case shit fucks up. (it's probably 10% chance when fucking with partitions)

Then, use acronis disk director (I like this, because it works pretty reliably) to do the partition fettling.

Acronis worked, thanks. Now to install win 7.

This. Oddly enough though it has defaulted to my motherboard's digital audio rather than the Audigy everything's plugged into, so I have no sound.
