Fair enough its the world cup and all but ffs why isnt there a standalone World Cup Channel on freeview, cable and Sky??? Why should i have to be messed about just because i hate football,5 weeks of no Top Gear and normal telly ruined ARGHHHHHHHHHHH.

On a tangent i can see it now:

Wayne Rooney doesnt play and England dont get through to the final oh no god forbid.
So you wont be supporting scotland then in the worl....oh...yeah....sorry (snigger)
M4nic is totally right, lets host our own worldcup! Kicking the referees head around a pitch!

Well, that was a poor performance. (again) Disapointing first half, and the goals in the second almost looked like a fluke. Damned if I know ho we won both matches so far, but perform like this in the last 16, or quarter finals and arn't we right fucked. again.

best we've been in 5 years my ass

Okay *rubs hands together* here we go then!

Trinidad & Tobago are going to beat Paraguay 2-0

England are going to go 1-0 down to Sweden.
Engalnd will then come back with a 2-1 win with..........

*ponders*

Rooney & Lampard to score in that order!

I think this might mean Sweden would go through on goal, difference but only just, so if my Trinidad & Tobago score is wrong (which I'm sure it won't be :) ) and they put more than 2 past Paraguay, they would go through in second place.

As I type Germany are 1-0 up after 3 minutes, so if they win, England need to win to avoid them.

You know what...

I'm gonna put a pound on one of these Woo predictions, I will stay clear of the England game because all my bets thus far have failed and I'm still bottom of the league in fantasy footall (by a nice clear margin of 20 points)

So... I think it'll have to be the Trinidad/Paraguay game, here are the odds:

Trinidad and Tobago beat Paraguay 2:0 - 20/1 - £1 = £21
Trinidad and Tobago beat Paraguay - 14/5 - £1 = £3.93

What dya reckon?, should I trust the Woo completely and go for the longer (score specific) odds?, or half trust the woo and just go for a win?

From stanjames.com:

Trinidad 2 - 0 Paraguay
+
Sweden 1 - 2 England
+
Winning scorer: Lampard

Put a doubles of 50p on (that's £1) and win...£600

Looking at it from one of the various camera angles though (ITV are nice like that :)) the goalkeeper really couldn't see the ball until he had about 1/2 second to spot it, move and block said ball. Would have been a minor miracle if he'd done it.

That looked bad - I'd have taken a defeat and Germany over potentially losing him for the rest of the tournament.
